It was an enlightening experience, looking back on a by gone era. Very sad how humans can be so cruel.
Michael, our tour guide was very informative and knew much about the plantation.

I have been to the Laura Plantation twice and have loved it both times. I had an amazing tour guide both times who were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history. My only regret is I didn’t write their names down because they were truly amazing. Especially the one we had yesterday. If this site can add his name, I would be ok with that!!

Both on the bus and at the plantation.
    Many add on options available.
The hotel pickup was convenient and punctual.

Really interesting Tour. Our guide Logan was very informative and introduced an element of fun into the walk. Even the coach trip to get to and from the plantation was enjoyable with our driver Brian giving good background information on Katrina and its aftermath.

The actual plantation tour was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the history of the plantation and really made it cover alive. However, our bus driver could have been more professional. She was late picking us up we spent the first few minutes arguing over the phone about where we were suppose to meet turns out we were right. After she pick up the other passengers, she tried to give us information about the city, but her information was either incomplete or incorrect I think she was nervous. Also, she spent most of the time yelling at her house contractor on the phone rather than telling us information.
