  • This was an amazing excursion. The White Cliffs of Dover were amazingly beautiful and we could see France from the shore. Also the Leeds Castle was gorgeous, the grounds, ponds, etc. and also the Canterbury Cathedral was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

  • Very enjoyable trip. Knowledgeable guide.

  • I used all three major tour companies in London and this tour happened to be with Golden tours. Of my three, I would have to say this was the worst in terms of the guide. She wasn't a very pleasant person and hardly interacted. The day prior I had one with premium tours and brought headphones, expecting to nap on the rides. That day, the guide was so amazing I took them out, whereas this day I put them in while she was talking. I went to three of the castles, and this was definitely least exciting. The only nice room is the library. The cathedral wasn't too worthwhile, but you get plenty of time in town. Also, for those looking to actually visit the cliffs of Dover, I do not recommend the tour. It is a quick 10min. stop to take pictures

  • overall a very nice day. Disappointed that Leeds Castle was not open for visitors - they did substitute with Dover Castle. Only allowed 10 minutes to take pictures of the Dover Cliffs - not enough. Not enough time at the Dover Castle either. Too much time allowed in Cantebury - so better scheduling should have been done. They blamed it on being a Sunday tour - but a Saturday tour that weekend wasn't allowed, so something they should think about further. Overall beautiful buildings at scenery. Also maybe I didn't realize this upon booking, but the boatride from Greenwich was just the commuter boat. I guess I expected more or didn't read up close enough. Again - overall was nice day.

  • Another great tour! Loved all the places visited

  • Excellent! Saw the beautiful Leeds Castle which was well worth the trip. A good overview of the cliffs Dover castle and the charming port. Canterbury cathedral was excellent and well worth seeing. Greenwich and the Thames river cruise were a bonus. This was one of the best value tours that I have booked with Viator.

  • Leeds Castle was fantastic and there is also the Dog Collar Museum onsite rated 3rd strangest museum in the World. We went from there to Dover where we only had 10 minutes to run out to the beach, take pictures, and then hop back in the bus. I would have preferred the 10 minutes be at the Battle of Britain memorial but understood why we were at the beach. Went from Dover to Canterbury Cathedral and it was fabulous. After touring the cathedral had a little time to tour some of the shops in downtown Canterbury. Then went to Greenwich where you saw the outside of Maritime Museum, outside of Cutty Sark. You just walk by the outside and do not have time to go into anything in Greenwich. Ending with the river cruise down the Thames was also great. Got to see a different perspective from the river of all the sites. Ends at Embankment Pier and there are a lot of great pubs in the area in which to have dinner after the end of a great day.

  • We hit traffic after the visit to Canturbury, so Greenwich was a bust. The Thames River Cruise is on an enclosed ferry, so unless you knock people down, you might miss some good photo opps. Leeds Castle and Canterbury though under renovation Oct 2017 are beautiful. Omar, our guide is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I have booked through viator.com several times now. I must say, that this tour is the most misleading. In addition to missing a good walkthrough of Greenwich, you also only have 15 minutes at Dover. The tour should be advertised as Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. You are slightly robbed when it comes to Dover and Greenwich. But, alas, we did encounter traffic.

  • Loved the Castle, Dover and Cathedral tours. Lots of pictures! Checkout that library inside the Castle. Be sure to leave a little time for the smaller Cathedral. Our guide was a wealth of information. Note that the Greenwich segment DOES NOT allow you to straddle the meridian. River Cruise was ok.

  • Awesome trip!!! Leeds Castle was beautiful. Canterbury Cathedral was inspiring. Cliffs were gorgeous. Really enjoyed the Thames River cruise. Our guide was informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend.
