The tour was great to do with my 6 years old child. We had a nice walk to the Levada (very crowded with toerists). Our guide Duard (not sure I'm writing it well) was very nice and friendly. After the walk he drove us to a restaurant and to a few more nice vieuwingpoints. Overall experience was great. We enjoyed ourself with a nice group of 9.
The pickup was on time and throughout the day our guide Antonio was amusing and informative. We rode in an open-topped 4x4 but apart from the latter part of the day didn't need any coat or jumpers in the car. The levada walk was great, taking us alongside the waterways right up to the fountains where we were given 20 minutes to rest and take photos. We went up to above the clouds next for the lunch stop then on for an off-road drive before going to the high cliff viewing point. A really great day that I'd recommend completely
We had a wonderful time with Rui our guide. He is very caring and funny. Thanks for an unforgettable day :) Rui.
Awesome hiking to see the waterfalls inside a wonderful environment. The group was awesome and our guide, Ruben, explained really clearly everything. I really enjoyed and i highly recommend this tour!
Me and my older daughter hof 17 ad a very nice tour to the levada do rabacal. The jeep was there on time at the hotel and our guide was Ruben. He told us a lot about the island and brought us at the beginning of the levada tour. It was very nice and beautiful. We had a great tour with the 4X4
we had a good lunch en a stop to drink Poncha And finally we had the view of the sea 6oom under us
we had a great Trip and a very good guide : Ruben
Amazing Experience - My husband and I had a wonderful day on this tour. Filipe was a very caring guide and safety was his number one priority which put the group at ease knowing that he would take good care of us. He was also a cautious Jeep driver but still adventurous and a happy fun guy. He took us to the 25 fountains on the levada walk and it was an amazing place like paradise. We then stopped at a Portuguese restaurant for lunch and had yummy food at our own expense after lunch sight seeing by Jeep - down and up dirt steep and narrow streets, can be scary if your afraid of heights but it was good fun. I can recommend if your up for a challenge
Good day out.
Amazing. Nuno was fantastic. Even though most of the day we had rain, the tour was excellent. His driving capabilities had us going different routes because of conditions to the same wonderful views. He was a magnificent off road driver and we had a great time. At key moments the rain did stop. He offered to take pictures. The tour group was small- four of us. He also showed us some extra sights. I would highly recomment him and would enjoy having him as our tour guide again.
This was an exceptional tour with True Spirit tours. Our guides Phillip, Phil, and Rui were experienced, safe, and loads of fun. Levada walk was beautiful!!! So much fun seeing Madeira in the jeep with open top. Wonderful local lunch with our new friends!! Highly recommend without hesitation.
This is a must do! Felipe was awesome - best tour guide I have had on the island! This is a beautiful island and I feel like we really got to know a lot about the island during this tour.
Highly recommend true spirit tours and you must book with Felipe!! He was awesome :)
