  • Very interesting cathedrals and ruins. We had a great time!

  • I took this tour on the first day in Lima. it is a great overview of the city. You discover which areas you want to return to and explore further. Taking this tour is highly recommended. Doing a tour on your own cannot compare.

  • Our guide was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She provided us a variety of experiences.

  • We enjoyed our tour although being a little bit jet lagged. I had scheduled it in the afternoon so we had the morning to walk around and mistakenly went and seen some of the things that were on the tour already. But we still enjoyed it. Super cool seeing the catacombs!
Great way to see the city.

  • The tour is good to take a quick look at Lima but I would have liked more information about the places we were visiting or passing by.
A map with information about the points of interest and the route would have been a nice complement to the trip.

  • Lima is very nice but I was disappointed to see that there are many KFCs and McDonalds there. The point of traveling is to experience different cultures, its traditions and foods. Its waste of time and money to travel 3000 miles to see American versions of McDonalds. Its ok for McDonalds to have franchises in Peru but they should at least have a Peruvian feel and twist to it and have a Peruvian menu. I am sure the locals may appreciate them but as an American, I was raised on McDonalds and there is one on just about every major boulevard in the US and dont care for them while traveling overseas.

I also found it interesting that Lima doesnt not have a storm drain system because it gets less than 0.025 inches of rain per year. Visit Lima and do the hop on and hop off tour to give you the birds eye of the city and check out the Mira Flores area. There are many interesting things to see and the locals are very warm, welcoming and friendly.

There is something special about Peru and I am planning another trip to see other places and ruins there. Ever since I visited, Peru has been on my mind and I think about it every week.

  • Average tour.

  • Lima is a massive city, and we were glad to have our excellent guide and driver get us from location to location to see the major sights. Time did not permit us to see everything on our list.
