Know More about this tour

We will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at “Parque del Amor” in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then we are heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture, for a panoramic view.
After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors Sant Martin de Porres and Sant Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today.
Explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today. One of the most worthy places to visit is the library, not only for the value of the writing works, but also for the coffered ceilings.
Feast upon a delicious buffet lunch in an elegant seaside restaurant; enjoy local specialties made from freshly caught seafood. Revitalized, visit the Larco Museum to immerse yourself in the captivating culture and history of the country. Peruse a plethora of entrancing exhibitions, viewing glittering jewelry, ancient ceramics and more than 50,000 Peruvian pots.
Then, venture to a traditional tavern to sample the nation’s most treasured drink, a pisco sour. Treat your taste buds to the sweet tones of the cocktail, created by combining grape brandy with egg whites, sugar syrup and lemon juice. Snack upon freshly made sandwiches before taking a seat at the Magic Water Circuit for your tour’s compelling conclusion. Gaze at the choreographed spurts of the impressive fountains as bright color and melodious music explode onto the scene. Watch lasers dance and images appear during the extravagant spectacle. When the show ends, return to your Lima hotel in your comfortable vehicle.
The Basilica Cathedral of Lima is also home to the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, the spanish conqueror of the Inca´s empire. Inside, along the side aisles, are a sequence of large paintings of the Via Crucis, "Way of the Cross." Pope John Paul II visited this cathedral on two occasions, in 1985 and 1988. This is commemorated with signs at the entrance. There are 14 side chapels.

Both parts of this trip were great. Am saw the central historical district and pm saw the Larco museum and magic water. So much great information was given the entire time. Their English was excellent and they knew the answers to all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this tour, this operator and these guides

Ursula is very knowledgeable about Peru’s history. I got to sample all Peru’s dishes, appetizers, desserts with Pisco during lunch in one of their best restaurants. To top it a drink in a bar with a big Peruvian sandwich and Pisco again late afternoon before going to the magic water circuit. Highly recommended tour!!!

Viator agreed to and received $300 for 4 people for a dinner and a tour of Lima fountain. The tour guide never responded nor showed up. We had a wasted night on sep 7 Please don’t book any tours on as they are not responsive and have a poor management.i am still waiting on a refund. I have other telephone charges in a foreign country trying to reach the tour guide and no success.

The tour was split into 2 tours of ~3h. We had a reservation at a restaurant in between. The tours were very interesting but the time allocated for the lunch was too long. However, very good tour with a local twist at a tavern!
