My guide was very good and added many historical tidbits to tour. Overall thought it was a good start to a stay in Lisbon. Will use tour company again.

We had a personal tour guide who led us through the historic district of Alfama which ironically was where we were staying. Unfortunately the tram ride that was included broke down so we missed that experience. Our tour guide shared insights into the past and current history of Lisbon which we appreciated. He also gave us a sense of what it is like to live in Lisbon currently. A definite must !

The tram ride was terrible - overcrowded and no opportunity for our guide to do any commentary. The walk was much more strenuous than we had imagined and our guide was boring - most of his commentary was politics directed against Spain.

Nuno was a very good tour guide. He clearly knew a lot about the history of Lisbon and Portugal, and his tour mixes historical information was interesting and amusing commentary. Taking the tram upwards meant that most of our walking was downhill, which was a good thing because after 4 hours we were pretty tired. The tour covers a good blend of sites mixed with walking through old neighborhoods which are fascinating due to the narrow winding alleys and great atmosphere.

The tour worked well for our group which included people in the 40s, 20s and 70s.

      Recommended.
