Know More about this tour

Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel. Delve straight into historic Lisbon, starting with old Castelo Hill. Meander through the districts winding streets toward Lisbon cathedral, the citys oldest church. Pause to admire the churchs intricate stained glass rose window, reconstructed with fragments from the original.

From here, explore Alfama, one of Lisbons oldest neighborhoods. Zigzag through crooked cobblestone streets lined with quaint cafes on your way to Belm. Learn how Lisbon grew from a fishing village into a cosmopolitan city during the Age of Discoveries. Marvel at the stately Jernimos Monastery, a national architectural treasure. Next, head riverside to visit Belm Towers stone fortress and the Monument to the Age of Discoveries, both perched at the mouth of the Tagus River. Sample a traditional pastel de Belm custard tart, and relax while enjoying lunch by the river.

Once youve refueled, loop back toward city center, tracing your path along a soaring 18th-century aqueduct. Stop at the Amoreiras district to uncover a historic hidden gem, the Me d'gua Reservoir. Finish your tour in the Baixa neighborhood, and learn about Lisbons reconstruction following the devastating earthquake of 1755. Return to your hotel, or acquaint yourself with Lisbons nightlife from this prime locale.

Nuno was an excellent guide, very informative and knew all the history of Lisbon. He took us to some great places off the main tourist routes. Would highly recommend this tour.

Nuno was amazing! He was attentive, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Although we had a lot of rain, at the beginning of the tour, he made it awesome. He sheltered the group from fhe rain, made sure we saw what we wanted to see, etc. He was extra kind to me with getting on/off the van ny letting me use a step up ladder. He even brought us the desert of Portugal the pastel de nata. I have a lot of pics, but not on this phone.

Our guide was very nice and accommodating. He lacked some of the history. We ever stopped at the acueducto or had time to buy tickets to see the monastery. Don't go on a weekend the lines and traffic are terrible. You can get this same tour on a hop on hop off.

Nuno was a wonderful guide, he showed us Lisbon the way we must see it. Not only the tourist thing, but the areas that you don't expect. He took into consideration the kids to make it extra fun. We saw Lisbon from many angles. He is highly recommended, he explained things very well. We loved loved this tour.

What a brilliant day out in Lisbon thanks to our guides Nuno & Gustov. They took us to see all the main attractions and their favourite places. Their historical knowledge of the city know no bounds. We can thoroughly recommend this tour. Our short holiday would have not have been so enjoyable if we had not met these young men and taken this tour. You must take this tour and ask for these 2 guides - you will not be disappointed.

Nuno was our guide for this small group tour of the city of Lisbon. As it turned out, my husband and I were the only ones on the tour so it was essentially a private tour, which worked out wonderfully because I have some difficulty walking and use a cane. Nuno was able to customize where we went and how we got there to minimize the amount of walking or climbing up steps for me. He certainly had a wealth of information about the history of the city, the various peoples who inhabited over the years and in particular the architecture and improvements after the big earthquake. We also learned a lot about the Portuguese tiles. Nuno was not only knowledgeable but extremely pleasant and interesting. It was a great tour.

Our guide Raquel was fantastic. She showed us the sights and asked what we wanted to see. Took us to the Aquaduct and many other small interesting places around town. She was very friendly, knowledable and manouvered the streets and traffic well. We would liked to have spent more time with her roaming Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Would certainly book her again when we return to Lisbon for a longer stay

There were six of us on the tour - my wife and I and a family of four who were great to share this experience with. Our tour guide was knowledgeable (but, if there was one comment I might make, he should be willing to move a little more off-script. I actually have a fair amount of sailing experience and felt my comments on the nature of sailing ships were pretty unwelcome - small annoyance.) Our weather did not cooperate; however, our guide was great in accommodating that and moved us along to venues where we could take shelter. The pastries that were included met all expectations in his build-up. They were off-the-charts good. And, the absolute best part for me was the tour of the aquaduct. That was simply amazing. I think that if the weather had been a little more cooperative, I would have also enjoyed immensely the Belem Tower as well as the Discoveries Monument. Again, highly recommended.

Informative, comprehensive and overall an enjoyable experience. We went from one end of Lisbon to the other, across the water to the big Jesus, through all the nooks and crannies of the old city to the old ruins sitting on the high ridges overlooking the city. Well worth the money paid and I would happily do it again. A good way to see and showcase the city. Loved the tour guide and his enthusiasm and I'm ashamed that I can't remember his name but I do know he lived in Angola and his father was an army officer there. Highly recommended!

Fabulous! What an amazing day spent with Nuno, Raquel, and 4 new friends. My husband and I were so impressed by how our guide got to know each of us and pointed out things along the way that were meaningful to each of us. Raquel even located the information on her phone for us to copy and be able to return to in our continued stay in Lisbon. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail was incredible. And we loved the special treat....tarts, that we shared near the end of our time. This has changed the way we will tour in the future!
