Know More about this tour

Meet your guide at the starting point in the afternoon to begin your walking tour of Little Havana. As you follow your guide through this bustling neighborhood -- noted as the center of social, cultural and political activity in Miami -- youll notice the distinct Cuban atmosphere, as many Cuban immigrants live here.

Your guide will take you to six local family-owned restaurants and cafes in the must-visit Calle Ocho area and give you an overview of the neighborhoods traditional, rustic Cuban cuisine. Sample Cuban favorites such as homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito (pastry), coffee, guarapo juice and mariquitas (plantain chips) or malanga frita -- similar to the taro root but sweeter, malanga is fried like a potato chip. Many of these dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been passed down through many generations. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

Not only will you try this neighborhoods cuisine, but youll also get a taste of some local culture. Meet artists in their studios, listen to traditional Cuban music, watch cigar rollers, take a peek at Domino Park, and learn about the communitys spiritual beliefs and practices.

Your 2-hour Little Havana tour ends back at the Agustin Gainza Arts Gallery.

  • Jennifer was an amazing tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about not only the origins of Little Havana, but also about all of the delicious food. The food was amazing. It gave you a good idea about what traditional Cuban food is like. My favorites were the pastelillos and the ice cream.

  • It was good, it covered some interesting aspects of this community, it was well organized.
It was good exposure to the beauties of this area and not only the food.
We feel it would have been more authentic to have a local guide from the neighborhood.

  • One of the best experiences in Miami! Most certainly recommend it to people!!

  • A great Miami experience! Getting to know Little Havana through its food added meaning to the experience. Ashley, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would recommend this for anyone visiting Miami.

  • Amazing tour!! I learned a great deal about this gem of a neighbourhood in Miami. Our tour guide was great and our meal was also amazing. Take this tour if you want to experience a little Cuba.

  • We took this tour with 8 of us, 6 in their 20s and a 3-month-old. Everyone loved it and it was a highlight of our week-long vacation in Florida. Jennifer was an excellent guide, she was knowledgeable and entertaining! We loved all the stops, but the guava turnover and mojito at Ball and Chain were a highlight! Highly recommend this tour.

  • We had a wonderful tour of all of the highlights in Little Havana with Jen as our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable made all of us comfortable and even stayed to inform us of some of the best Cuban restaurants in other parts of Miami. The food was delicious and we would never have found all of little stores/restaurants that she took us to. We were definitely not hungry after this tour and it was the perfect balance of walking and eating.

  • What a great tour. We're not typically big tour people, choosing usually to do these on our own. That said, we took a chance on this and were not disappointed in the least. My daughter 10 loved it too. Our guide was informative, friendly, and knowledgeable and all the stops were first rate. The price around 60/person was good for what we ate/drank. Best part - we now feel like we have some knowledge of Little Havana and will certainly visit on our own when we return to Miami.

  • Excellent Tour - Our guide Jennifer was the best. Each of the stops was better than the previous one. This tour is also a great value for what you get for the price. Glad we didn't eat lunch before the tour. Overall Little Havana is a cool place and hope to go back again. Ball and Chain was my favorite stop!

  • Felt like we're in Cuba.
Love the breads, and specially the Cuban coffee.
    Strong recommend.
    Will go again.
