Know More about this tour

Meet your expert guide at Livornos port, then board your air-conditioned transfer vehicle and relax on the scenic journey to Pisa. As you travel, gaze out of the window and take in views of the idyllic Italian countryside.

After approximately 30 minute drive, arrive in Pisa and visit the Field of Dreams (Piazza dei Miracoli), a verdant expanse that is home to the citys three most important sights: the Baptistery, the Duomo and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Here, enjoy around an hour of free time to get up close to these incredible landmarks and perfect your Leaning Tower poses.

Reboard the bus and continue to Tuscanys beautiful capital.Enjoy the 90 minute ride and from the comfort of your seat, admire the magnificent Renaissance architecture as you weave through the quaint cobblestone streets.

Make your first stop at Piazza del Duomo. Be overcome with awe as you take in the glory of the world-famous Duomo of Florence Cathedral (Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiori). Marvel at the intricacy of the pink, white and green marble that blankets the exterior. Then, turn your attention to the cupola, which dominates Florences iconic skyline. Hear how the showstopper, designed by 13th-century architect Arnolfo di Cambio, took 170 years to complete.

Next, head for Piazza della Signoria. Pause for photos by the replica of Michelangelos famous David. Then, wander through the Loggia dei Lanzi, the open-air gallery that contains a collection of beautiful sculptures.

Continue to Ponte Vecchio, an ancient bridge that is as much a symbol of Florence as the Duomos striking red cupola. Finally, stop in Square of Santa Croce (Holy Cross) to see the Basilica of Santa Croce, which was also designed by Cambio.

After a break for lunch (own expense), return to your vehicle and relax on the return journey to Livorno port.

Things started off with a bit of confusion about the shuttle compared to the description as "free" in the tour. (Yes you must pay 5 Euros each person to take a shuttle to the bus parking lot) Once we arrived at the meeting point it was all good. Stephania was a wonderful tour guide - friendly, helpful, kind, full of vast amounts of information and funny, too.

Engaging, funny and helpful guide. Perfect scheduling and itinerary for both cities. Given options in Florence for free time or continuing to walk with guide - worked out very well to allow for a shopping break.

The tour was fine, the driver snd guide were good. But it was a misleading and error in the the meeting instruction. The meeting instruction stated that take free shuttle to the coach parking to join the tour. But the Viator agent said there is no free shuttle to the coach parking. We had to pay Ur$5.00 pp to take the shuttle, if we did not pay, we could not go to the tour. A very unfriendly agent to be met in the morning. We paid ur$10 for 2 people to take the shuttle to meet the tour. It ruined my morning. The guide and the driver were fine. We should be reimbursed the Ur$10.00

Stephania was a great tour guide. I learned all sorts of interesting things about Italy in general and Tuscany specifically. Pisa was beautiful, and Florence was fantastic. Florence is unique from the other Italian cities we visited because it is a small city that has retained almost 100% its Renaissance feeling throughout. I feel like I walked the streets that the Medicis and Michelangelo walked. It was a great day.

Stephania is a fantastic tour guide. She is so much fun!! It was a wonderful day. We saw so much in Florence and Pisa. She made it such an enjoyable day.

We arrived at Livorno via cruise ship and was a little late getting off the ship but the tour waited until we found the bus. Our tour guide, Stephania, was so awesome. There were a few difficult people on our tour but Stephania kept the tour going and did her best to make sure we got to see as much as possible. I highly recommend this tour, especially Stephania.

A good excursion but too much time spent in Florence with little time on our own to shop and relax We had to rush Pisa

  • 30-Jun-2022

Stephania was amazing. She shared much history with us of everyplace we visited as well as on the bus ride. She made sure we were safe, always together and great advice on where to go, eat, etc The only bad experience was getting to the coach which is not a reflection of Stephania but what was organized. We were told to take a shuffle from the cruise ship but there was no shuttle to the defined meeting point. We needed to take a taxi for 15 euros. If it wasn’t for the available taxis we may have missed the your.

You sure get your money’s worth with this tour! Full day tour to see Pisa and Florence, as well as the countryside in between. Laila our guide, and Luciano our driver were very professional, and Laila was a great timekeeper - be on time, and let’s go! ONE IMPORTANT DETAIL: Our tour DID NOT leave from the ship dock outside our Royal Caribbean ship. You need to take the FREE PORT SUPPLIED BUS to the first stop, which is a parking lot for buses just outside the port. There, you will meet the tour. DON’T take the bus to the second stop (which is the city center), you want to get off at the first stop. The buses only run about every 20 minutes, so give yourself time as well. Outside our ship there was a little booth with a port representative where we asked about the free shuttle. GREAT tour and much smaller than the ship excursions with huge groups!

  • 29-May-2022

Our driver was about 20 minutes late and we were told to ride a “free” shuttle to the meeting place. When we got there, we had to pay 5€ per person for about a 2 mile ride. We enjoyed the Florence tour, but the guide was so long that our time to be on our own was shortened by 30 minutes. Pisa was great.
