  • I can't really rate this trip because we couldn't do it at all. Halfway, it began to snow really bad and they cut the roads, so we had to turn back. The guide Eric was really good so he made sure we could enjoy the day after all. He took us to some other places like a nice church in the middle of the nature, a cozy sea village and we even saw the Loch Lomond. I think I will have to repeat the trip in another season.

  • Five hours drive from Edinburgh, and only an hour and a half near Loch Ness. No time to boat :
Views of Scotland are absolutely gorgeous!

  • Loved everything about this tour! The tour guide was so informative , it was like going back into time and actually being their... it was amazing.

  • Amazing trip, great tour guide that stopped off on the way to a variety of locations for us to take stunning images of equally stunning views. I went in January and it was nice and quiet... Cold but quiet.
    Thanks Scotland!

  • Great trip!!!!!
Our tour guide / driver, Eric was VERY nice with so much knowledge.
The mini bus was very clean, comfortable and on time.
    We had a great day!

  • We had a great day! Spectacular sceneries all covered in snow. lots of driving but worth the views. thanks to our guide driver Dave.

  • Highly enjoyable tour! Most of the day was spent in the comfortable bus, but it didn't feel that way as we passed through the amazing Highlands landscape, with plenty of photo stops and injections of informative commentary. Our driver/guide Douglas was friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable - I learned a lot about how the landscape developed and is still changing and some of the history/battles associated with different areas. The cruise at Loch Ness is also a must - it costs extra GBP13.50 pp, but again the view is beautiful and the crew give a great commentary, naturally including information on the legendary Nessie. Be aware that it can get very windy and rainy though, so bring waterproof gear and wrap up warm!

The only small downside was that due to the shortened daylight hours in winter, it started getting dark through Cairngorns National Park and we only made a short toilet stop in Pitlochry. Our tour therefore ended a bit earlier than it would in the summer months, but we were made aware of this at the start and I think it was worth it nonetheless!

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this trip! The cruise was outstanding and the tour guid was friendly and knowledgeable. No luck with Nessie though!

  • First of all, we did not stop in Glencoe at all.. so the title of this trip is misleading. We drove through the Highlands and had a few picture stops. Two hours in Loch Ness with an optional boat tour. The driver was informative and friendly and drove very safe. I would've gave it 5 stars but again, why does it say Glencoe when that's not even a stop on the tour?
