  • Very interesting but a little rushed. Two castles would be the right thing to do. Excellent guide, very knowledgeable, but there was no wine tasting mentioned. Ok for me, but some peopl I know would be angry at that.

  • Got lucky that it was only me and my husband who booked the tour. Since it was low season, the chateaus were very quiet and not busy which we prefer. Antoine our guide was amazing! Learned a lot about French history among other things that day. An amazing tour, definitely worth it!

  • The tour ended up being just my mom and myself. It's nice that they don't cancel if the van isn't completely full. Our guide, Nicolas, was fantastic. He was very accommodating when it came to my mother's problems with stairs. He was also very knowledgeable on the history of the region and the castles we visited. We liked that he would give us an introduction to the castle, then let us explore on our own. It's an absolutely gorgeous region of the country I highly recommend visiting.

  • It was a great historical experience in part by the knowledge of our guide Nicolas, he cover information of the different castle, the geographical area, why is called loire valley when actually is not a valley. The advantage of a small group, is the you get at one on one personal touch. It was a fun and educational trip...

  • Our tour guide JP was great! My fave of the 3 was Chenonceux, although the other 2 castles were just as beautiful. The van ride there was very comfortable. It was my husband and I and another girl traveling alone. It was perfect.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • It was great!
The three Castells were amazing and the tour was very good coordinated, timed and the explanations were very good.

  • Fantastic! It was a super hot day, so the air conditioned van was wonderful. The tour guide, Nicholas, was really knowledgeable and personable. The 3 chateaus were a great choice.

  • This is a small group tour, so if you are not really social, things get quite awkward during the ride. During my experience, Chambord and Amboise tour went well, but not at the last destination, Chenonceau. The tour guide knew there was long lineup 45 min wait at the entrance to the castle, but he took all his time walking the group slowly. Once near the castle, instead of putting us in line to minimize waiting time to get in, he lead us to the side to talk about history of castle, which I studied all before the tour. After that, he told the group to explore on your own either go in to the castle or just look around outside. Who would want to just look outside after you spent so much money to go there? Because of that, I only had time to rush thru the castle and come out without a chance to explore the garden. Next time, I'm going with a big group and have more private / quiet time at a lot cheaper price.

  • Tour guide/ driver was a bit cranky. Minivan was not comfortable. Beautiful castles though.
