Know More about this tour

Choose the evening departure time most convenient to you, then make your own way to the prearranged meeting point near Trafalgar Square in central London. Greet your ghoulish guide, then climb aboard the eerie ghost bus, a classic 1960s Routemaster with a Gothic edge and a dark backstory.

Find a secluded spot in the shadows of the lower deck, or boldly ascend to the top deck and settle into one of the blood red seats. Feel the roar of the engine, and prepare yourself for a thrilling tour of Londons darker side.

As your bus weaves its wicked way through Londons streets, listen to your guide, a somewhat unhinged bus conductor, recount gruesome tales from the capitals long, depraved past. Feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end as you learn about the Whitehall Mystery, a particularly bloody murder case where neither the victim nor the killer were ever identified, though some believe that Jack the Ripper, Londons most fearsome serial killer, may have been behind it.

Hear spine-chilling stories about the citys most famous ghosts as you pass by some of Londons must-see attractions including the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Pauls Cathedral, London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Steel yourself as you learn about the ancient royal tombs that were uncovered at Westminster Abbey, the black dog of Newgate Prison, and the demon barber of Fleet Street. Youll also visit the Cross Bones Graveyard, a pauper's burial ground with a legend that dates back to medieval times.

After around an hour, your tour concludes back at the original start point.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this trip the conductor was absolutely hysterical great way to have a laugh in London with a bit of history added in would recommend this trip

  • A little hokey but so much fun! What a fun and entertaining way to see some of the seedier parts of the city!

  • Great trip, however one little thing would be a toilet stop at a point where we did stop for a few moments anyway

  • A good and informative tour if not a little cheesy in places. But it was entertaining. I would recommend it.

  • A short review. Myself and my wife both loved this fun tour. My 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed it because there were a couple of other kids onboard her age who she sat with, had she been seated just with us I'm not quite sure she would have enjoyed it so much. There is only one time you exit the bus for a short walk, other than that you are on the bus the whole time. I recommend it, very fun.

  • This was Blindingly Good!!! The tour guide was Creepy and funny and the stories told as you passed each landmark in the bus were eerie and fun. Also there are things going on inside the bus as well throughout your journey that I will not share so that it does not spoil the fun.Overall this was well worth the time and money and I would suggest you add it to you things to do list in London.

  • Our 9yr old enjoyed the hijinks, I enjoyed not walking!. Interesting stories and characters and enjoyed ride on the routemaster!

  • This was pretty funny and clever. We enjoyed driving all over town and hearing some interesting and spooky facts. It was a fun way to spend an hour.

  • My 12 year old daughter loved this tour. I could take it or leave it - but when a pre-teen girl smiles and laughs - it's totally worth it! It's more of a show between the tour guides with some London history woven in as you drive around town.

  • This is a fun way to learn some of London and #39;s history. Me and my sister really enjoyed it. I def recommend this if you are even a little bit interested!
