Our tour guide, Mark, was very friendly and engaging and took us on a most enjoyable and informative tour of the London Underground. The tour started at Baker Street station, riding the trains to various locations as Mark outlined the story behind development of the system. Mark covered key aspects of the development and history of the various lines and the overall system, including a particular focus on the social significance as well as touching on key aspects of the engineering, without overwhelming us with too much detail. The group was a good size (around 10 people) and we all had plenty of opportunities to interact and to ask questions of interest.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in the social significance of public transport in the development of cities, a passion for trains or a fascination with London's Tube.

    Thanks again Mark!
