Day 1 - Guilin - Longsheng
Get picked up from your hotel lobby in downtown Guilin, your driver will find you by eye contact, or read your name from his pickup list.and thenyou'll be transferred by private coach to a meeting place. From here you will go to Longsheng by hotel shuttle bus. The shuttle bus service is offered by Hotel Quanjinglou, a hotel located on the highest place of Longsheng rice terraces.
After 3-hour drive, you will arrive at Jinkeng, an area which is filled with hills known for amazing rice terraces with a history more than 700 years. You will be met by ahotel staff from Hotel Quanjinglou at the parking lot. Then you will start a 3-hour hiking tour escorted bythis hotel staff to the hotel located on the mountain top.
You will walk through large areas of rice terraces and two villages: Dazhai village, Tiantou village. Sometimes you walk on village road built with stone and sometimesyou walk on narrow trails built on rice paddies.
The best time to visit Longsheng rice terraces is Spring, when the rice paddiesis watering for planting time. An alternative best time is October when it has been harvested.

Day 2 - Longsheng - Guilin
After breakfast in the hotel, walk down the mountain by yourself. It takes two hours to get to the bus terminal from your hotel. There will be no escort service by the hotel staff today. There are plenty of photo opportunities on the way. Please leave enough time for walking and photography. Because the light in the morning is better for good photos.
The hotel shuttle bus will drop you off at Xiangjiang Hotel in downtown Guilin. Please take a taxi by yourself to airport, hotel or railway station.
Useful Notice:
FromXiangjiang Hotel, it takes 10 minute to Guilin South Railway Station by taxi. And it takes1 hour to airport, Guilin West Railway Station, or Guilin North Railway Station.
For passengers who will go back to a downtown hotel in Guilin on day 2, Your driver can drop off some luggage in that hotel, then take you to take hotel shuttle bus to longsheng on day 1.
Luggage Storage: There is luggage storage room in the parking lot at the foot of mountain in Jinkeng rice terraces (near the lower cable car station). No need towalk with all your luggage for 3 hours to your hotel which is on the mountain top.
Porter Service: Luggage can be carried by local villagers. Extra cost is about USD 10 per piece one way. This supplement cost can be paid to the villagers directly. The hotel staff will find a porter for you on arrival.
Sedan chair: Ask hotel staff for help. You can reserve a sedan chair from the foot of the mountain so that you do not need to walk all the way to your hotel.

Accommodation on Longsheng Rice Terraces: Adult price is based on twin / triple share of a hotel room. Child price is based on child without extra bed. If you need one adult in one room, single supplement will be informed and charged. If you need extra bed for child, additional cost will be informed and charged
Please notice the hotel allows only maximum of 3 persons to stay overnight in one room
When you check in to your hotel in Longsheng, please confirm with the hotel staff for your return bus leaving time for day 2. If you need the porter service on day 2, please tell the hotel staff when you check in.
For passengers who will go back to a downtown hotel in Guilin on day 2, please inform the local tour operator in advance. Your driver can take you to drop off some luggage in that hotel on day 1. No need to take all your luggage to rice terraces.
For passengers leaving from Guilin on day 2, please inform flight or train details in advance. There is luggage storage room in the parking lot at the foot of mountain in Jinkeng rice terraces. No need to walk with all your luggage for 3 hours to your hotel which is on the mountain top.
You need to find a taxi at your own cost after getting off the hotel shuttle bus on day 2. There are 3 railway stations and 1 airport in Guilin. From the shuttle bus drip off place, the driving time is 10 minute to Guilin South Railway Station; 1 hour to airport, 1 hour to Guilin North Railway Station, 1 hour to Guilin West Railway Station.
