The service was delightful. The entire crew are so kind and patient. Our server, Suzanne V. and her trainee Laura were spot on perfect—sweet, professional, accommodating—attentive but not intrusive. This is a party boat, so the drinks are strong and the music is loud. Despite the decibels, the joyfulness of the passengers is infectious. Good DJ plays a mix designed to please old and young. Good dance floor. Quiet outdoor decks in the bow and topside. The spacious, top heavy craft “Endless Dreams” stays inside the breakwater and makes two lazy circuits out to the mouth of the harbor and back. We saw quite a few sea lions and water birds. Duration of the whole ride is 2 ½ hours. Food is definitely not the reason to take this dinner cruise. The “premier dinner” is somewhere between a Swanson microwave meal and airline food. I really think the galley is just a row of radar ranges. Not dreadful—but yeah—pretty embarrassing. The one exception is if you opt for the shrimp cocktail—$18+ extra on the otherwise inclusive menu. Each $3 shrimp was fresh and cool and the cocktail sauce was great—but the space-efficient presentation was fairly unappetizing. Just six shrimp on a tiny plain plate/dipping cup unit. No ice. No slice. No frills at all. Tasty though! Still and all, we had a fabulous time. We danced to the greatest hits playlist of a Carnival cruise, joining our fellow passengers in a spontaneous conga line. The booze was pleasant. I recommend the Tropical Splash over the Margherita. Both will disinhibit you to dance. All in all, I recommend this kitschy SoCal tourist trap. It is genuinely enjoyable and the passengers and crew are all wonderful. If you go in with really low expectations for the food, everything else is a friendly, fun party.

It was an awesome time and new experience! Celebrated my best friend birthday on this cruise and was both of our first time! Awesome food, great entertainment and friendly staff!

It was terrible. It is billed as a a “premier” cruise. It is anything but. We expected something like the Odyssey Cruises out of Chicago but it was anything but that. The carpet was old and stained. The windows were dirty and the floor was so slanted you could hardly walk and the bathrooms were disgusting. The music was too loud and most of the guests were drunken and obnoxious people in there twenties. This was not a premium cruise. The only positive was our waiter Arturo was a nice guy and tried hard to provide good service. We liked him. Aside from that this dinner cruise really stunk.

I must confess i did enjoyed my time on board, the staff was great and very polite, crew members very organized and friendly, can't wait to be back, hornblower should always advice customer to dress to withstand the breeze

I real enjoyed the cruise and the waiter, Brandon, was excellent. I would definitely consider doing it again or recommending it to other people.

We were celebrating my wife's retirement and my son-in-law's graduation with his doctorate. I figured this would be a special way to celebrate!! The dinner cruise is a different experience than just eating in a restaurant. The food was good but not excellent. We enjoyed getting a glass of champagne as we boarded and ordered drinks from the bar when at our table. It is too expensive to do this on any regular basis, but fun once in a while!

I celebrated my 28th birthday with Hornblower Cruises and Events and I absolutely loved the quality of service I received.
The crew was exceptionally nice and I enjoyed my four-course meal along with great music and dancing.
I definitely recommend this cruise line and would give it 10 stars if I could. -
