My Son and I had an fantastic day on the Cruise, I was absolutely useless at the snorkelling but the wonderful crew/staff were very supportive and there was no pressure. I didn’t make it snorkelling out to the Reef (I stayed in the water near the beach) but was able to see it in the glass bottom boat so I didn’t miss out. The lunch was amazing and there was plenty - no scrimping! I would recommend this trip to anyone, even, if like me, you are not a strong swimmer, go for it, it’s well worth it.

In spite of a really rough day, this was a wonderful experience. I did not want to snorkel from a platform or go so far offshore and was so happy to find this Low Isles tour. The boat and crew were top-notch, and they really emphasized safety while still having a great time. Unfortunately, about half the passengers were seasick because of the heavy seas, but the crew were great getting them ice/cloths and to fresh air. Once at the Low Isles, the swim with the marine biologist was great (well, the first time out, we all kept running into each other trying to swim close enough to hear her as well as look below the waves which was pretty funny, but the second time out was fantastic). We were concerned the water would be murky because of the weather, and others thought the Low Isles would not be great snorkelling, but on the leeward side, it was calm, the visibility was great and the colors and the fish!!! We saw a ton of turtles and a lot more fish than I was expecting. It really was like being in an aquarium. Wow, what an experience. The provided lunch was delicious and the gear was in great condition. I highly recommend this - especially for anyone who may not be comfortable going from a platform or who want to do other things besides snorkel. There was also a tour around the island with the marine biologist, and glass bottom boat tours for anyone who didn't want to snorkel. This is a really approachable way to see the Great Barrier Reef and I'm so glad I went.

We went on the day tour the celebration of my friends 60th with 4 of us having an amazing day. The weather was perfect, the crew amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good, the island is small and charming. A great day all round. Would definitely recommend.

We had the best experience at the Low Isles. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The smaller size boat meant for a more personalised experience.

The tour was OK, the weather wasn't great but the island is beautiful and the coral reef is amazing. The staff were helpful and the lunch was great. There are a few things that I didn't enjoy with this tour, the boat filled to capacity so nowhere to sit, you have to shuttle to the boat for lunch so we only had 45 mins to snorkel and walk/see the island, felt rushed plus have to wait with the other 150 people to get on a 16 person shuttle. Overall I was disappointed but glad I visited the island.

A little disappointed at the lack of color in the coral. Otherwise, the trip was a nice day out on the water. Interesting commentary from the marine biologist that took us out.

Went early December as season coming to an end so boat only 30 passengers as opposed to 100 or so. Crew incredibly friendly and helpful, equipment ready to use, explanation and supervision for snorkeling excellent. Glass bottomed boat with marine biologist, as with a walk round the low isles.
Tea breaks, lunch provided on board, superb day out. Highly recommend

The overall trip wasn't that bad....the crew on our boat were great, the trip to the reef was good however, we had a very very low tide on the day we went to the Low Isles so we couldn't really see much coral....disappointed to say the least!

This was a great day out and the only disappointment was the limited visibility while snorkelling on the reef.
