For a great evening of entertainment, this cruise onboard the M.S Dixie II features live music, dancing and a healthy sit-down dinner. The selections are prepared with sustainable foods like free-range chicken, Oregon grass-fed beef, line-caught trout, organic spring greens and fresh vegetables. For dessert, there's mouth-watering cakes and fresh berries, not to mention spectacular views of the lake and Emerald bay.

Cocktails and wine are available for purchase and entertainment throughout the cruise is provided by the popular Steve Walker Band.

All meals are prepared to your order on board and served with all the trimmings. Dance to the sounds of Tahoe favorite 'Safari', take a stroll on a moonlit deck, and savor every moment of this 3.5-hour cruise. Smart casual attire is required for this cruise.

    Once you embark, you will be seated for dinner right away and by the time your dinner is done, the sunset is gone too. We’d expect some time to watch the sunset but that didn’t happen. Very windy and cold once you get outside. There’s some entertainment but you’d better get there early or you’ll be standing.

    Crews was good. Ticketing process was painful. I bought tickets on line but needed to check in before boarding and found that process cumbersome and there was no wifi so I could not show my ticket on my phone!!!

    Good time and great food. Dress warm it’s cold on the lake in October. Band is really loud but plays grooving songs. We want on a full moon weekend, awesome reflection on the lake.

    We purchased the sunset dinner cruise and the day time cruise at the next day. An outstanding service provided on both! The dinner was excellent and well organized. Staff was experienced and friendly, even in parking lot! Highly recommend. Thank you.

    Great trip. Easy to book, meal was good and waiter service very polite and attentive. Cruise was smooth and without any risk of sea-sickness. Trip was a good length (3 hours) so no rush to eat the meal. Meal finished well before entering the cove to get a look around the sights there. Loud speaker announcements could be heard easily throughout the boat. Perhaps more seating inside could have been handy, but other than that it was an excellent evening. Band were fun and plenty of people were dancing. There was a tiny corner on the top reserved as a smoking section which was appreciated. Overall a must-do when in Lake Tahoe.

    My family and I had a great time with the live music playing and the fantastic view. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I recommend this for individuals, couples and families with people of all ages! This was a lot of fun.

    Fantastic boat trip. Great scenery. Learn a little about the lake. Very relaxing. Nice gift shop on board. Great band. Great cocktails, especially the Blue Lake Margarita. The food was excellent, just a fantastic dinner. Surprisingly, but not only was the food great but a very nice ambiance in the dinning area. Love it and highly recommend it
