This was one of three tours that we took and we had the best tapas and wine on this tour. Pedro is an amazing person with a wealth of knowledge. He truly loves what he does.
Pedro was a brilliant tour guide, he took us to places we would never have found by ourselves. We tasted lovely authentic tapas and Pedro's knowledge of the history of Madrid was very interesting too. The beauty of the tour is that you are also fast tracked to prebooked tables and the staff are prepared for our visit and its very well organised. Pedro advised us on drinks to pair with the food. I found the visit to the "ham" shop very interesting, tasting and learning about the different qualities of iberico ham. Finishing off the tour with churrios and chocolate ,what's not to like.
Great way to get a local experience, find hideouts of the city you may not run into on your own, not just for eating but drinking, shopping or just hanging out as well. Our host was personable and knowledgeable and we had a great group of six from different countries. The chocolate and churros were the highlight if you do nothing else you must try that! A food tour will now be a staple on my list of tours done in new cities!
Wonderful experience our first full day in Madrid on our dinner tour! Our group of 6 was the perfect size and our guide Brian was very knowledgeable from start to finish. We loved the historic background on classic Spanish dishes and history of the various neighborhoods we walked through on the tour. Of course the final stop of the evening was Choclateria San Gines for traditional churros with chocolate….perfect way to end the evening! If you are a food lover and enjoy food/wine tours in new cities you don’t want to miss this one! Well worth the cost for an evening of delicious food and wine!
We had a very s small group of only 4 which worked out perfectly. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and the restaurants that we visited were delicious. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
Everything was great! Brian did a great job picking the restaurants and food selections. He was personable and knowledgeable. It’s always a plus when you end up with a group of people you enjoy sharing such a fun experience with.
We enjoyed this food tour! Our leader Brian was great. The other people in the tour were very fun and friendly. For all the food and drinks we had, it was a fantastic value. We are not big tour people because they seem to be hit or miss. This tour is a hit!
Unlike some food tours we've done elsewhere, we really felt like we got our money's worth on this one. Our guide, Brian, led us right into several authentic places in old Madrid that others were standing in line for. His expertise on Madrid's history and the food and drink we experienced was impressive. His sense of humor kept things light from start to finish. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!
Great fun. A thoughtfully curated afternoon that includes a brief history, delicious local eats and drinks. The guide was knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Highly recommend.
Great food stops and interesting information about the city and the food from our guide Brian. The group was diverse and a lot of fun.
