Itinerary
You will practice in making your Stained Glass by following several main steps of Tiffany's technique. American Louis Comfort Tiffany was born and grew up in a family of famous jewellers and in the late 19th century began his experiments in stained glasses manufacturing. He made some improvements in the technology process and invented new glass. This technology allows you to create big solid planes, including ceilings and windows. It also got a worldwide spread in making vases, lamps and other decorative items.
You will choose the pattern, which was prepared especially for you by the artist. Then, with the help of professional decorator, you will score and cut the glass, grind the edges, foil the glass with copper foil and solder the glass in place. As a result, you will get a nice handmade piece of decorative art.
During your workshop, you will have a 15 min break for the traditional Russian Tea Ceremony.
