Felipe was an excellent tour guide; he arrived promptly and at an easy-to-find location. We were very fortunate to be the only two people on that particular tour, which gave us the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and for Felipe to get to know our food likes and dislikes.
Felipe is very knowledgeable, both about the local food and Malaga history as well. I'd recommend that you turn up hungry as there is plenty of food - we were both struggling by the end of the tour, but it was all so delicious we didn't want to miss anything!
This tour is excellent value, as you get the guided tour plus various tastings, both at the market - very interesting place - and at tapas restaurants, as well as wine. Also, at the end, Felipe provides a guide leaflet of other recommended places to eat: we at at one (close to where we were staying) which was superb - and excellent value.
I really do recommend this tour.

This is by far the best food tour I have done. Javi (please excuse the spelling) was a fantastic host. Nothing was a problem for our guide. Food and drink offerings were plentiful. Every taste and preference was taken into account and accommodated for. Javi has a great personality and knowledge of the city along with its foods. A visit and guide around the market, explaining the traditions and foods of Spain. Further walking to a number of different locations sampling there specialities. Don't eat much before the tour!!

This was a great tour with only 8 guests total. The guide's recommendations for after the tour were great too!

Tour is a bit on an expensive side but if you go there you won't regret for any single dollar you spent

If you are into food, then this tour is a must! Our guide, Felipe took us to several food and drink venues beginning at the open market, where we ate delicious Tapas and drank Sangria.Felipe shared his wonderful knowledge of the various foods offered in the market as we explored the various sections. We then set off into Malaga and visited restaurants where we were treated to all kinds of yummy local delicacies. Felipe also pointed out landmarks and shared the history of the areas we walked through. It's good we walked as we were stuffed by the time the tour ended. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour included a great mix of the history of Malaga and food! The tapas were very tasty and we were lucky to have a great "girls trip" with us. Everyone mixed well and enjoyed each others' company. The central market we visited was very big and several of our tapa tastings were there - cheese, fish, nuts, figs -- all terrific!

We thoroughly enjoyed our very complete tapas walking tour with Felipe! Can't recommend this highly enough - great itinerary, with well planned stops - local knowledge with immense enthusiasm and joy passed along to the group!

The guide javi was nice and knowledgeable However, this tour is very amateur . Its not a food tour rather a basic introduction to spanish food tour. All the food in this tour is basic like croquettes, ham and cheese and most of the food is free tastings from the market . I don’t recommend this tour for foodies as it is not a true food tasting tour with novelties . Tour guide was nice !

The Malaga Tapas Walking Tour was a nice way to spend 3-4 hours in Malaga. Our guide, Javier, took us to several tapas bars, the food market and a wine bar at the end. He was very nice and easy to understand. The tapas and the wine was very good.

This tour was great fun. We learnt so much from our very knowledgeable guide. It was just my husband and I and we loved the personal way our tour was tailored to our interests. We were introduced to not only new cuisine but had a range of Spanish customs as well. We particularly enjoyed the markets and the quantity and quality of food and wine over the 3 1/2 hours was just perfect. Would highly recommend this to expert or novice foodies like ourselves.
