Not many customers on the boat, last run of the day and low season, which meant we could pick the seats with the best view. The captain was jolly, his commentary fitted in nicely as we cruised along. If you go out on the Hudson this time of year, wrap up warm, it gets chilly and windy out on the water! The skyline from the water is impressive, a different and wide angle view

The weather outside was frightful...it was raining and gloomy, but we were tucked in inside, and were able to see through the boat's huge windows, so don't let bad weather keep you away. On a nice day, you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The tour was 90 minutes long, and the narration was not only informative, but also fun, with quite a bit of history thrown in for good measure. We went on the last tour of the day so we could see it all in daylight, but return after dark so we could enjoy the lights on the shores.

George Jay was our narrator and he is an outstanding historian of NYC and the remainder of the US. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip on the perfect weather day.

  • 08-Jul-2019

Getting to the dock on foot was more of an exercise than expected due to location and street closures. The boat itself looked bigger than what I expected in the picture, which to me was a negative. Very lengthy stop in lower Manhattan where people get on and off which isn’t really touring time in my opinion. The process of getting your tickets despite having a prepaid voucher was horrendous. They should work on a better process or have more than one person working during peak periods. It seemed like a good price but think we may have saved bundling with other offerings. It appeared that many individuals received free with purchase of a hop on hop off bus tour.
Despite the criticisms, we had a gorgeous day, a knowledgeable and helpful tour guide and awesome views of lower Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty.

Loved everything about this tour, great views!

  • 09-Jul-2018

The cruise was nice worth the price I paid 20 a person approx but hard to hear the person doing the commentary, I actually could not hear her at all. Other than that it was very enjoyable and nice!

  • 10-Apr-2018

Worth every penny. Very informative but not overwhelming.

  • 31-Mar-2018

This was an easy way to see the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan without walking all over the place. Only bad part was the weather was terrible...fog and light rain...and cold! Boat was nice and warm though. You can get off at stops...like the World Trade Center Memorial and get back on later. Watch the times so you don't miss the next boat. Jacob did a nice job narrating the trip.

The best way to see the Statue of Liberty and the tower blocks of New York, very informative guide during the trip.
