Overview
Are you Looking for Animals and have an amazing experience?We will set off from Manuel Antonio National Park at the Main Entrance. For the next 2 hours, you will be taken through several trails in our quest to spot animals.
As a Certified ICT Nature Specialist, i will be helping you to discover different species of animals hidden or camouflaged in plain sight and sharing interesting facts learned by guiding tours for over 13 years.
During the tour, pictures and videos of your favorite animals through our Swarovski Spotting Scope with no additional cost, adding fantastic memories to your vacations.
Wildlife at the park is exuberant, like sloths, monkeys, toucans, different species of birds, butterflies, lizards, iguanas, and crabs. It could be seen on our way to Manuel Antonio beach, Where you can stay there enjoying the beach for the rest of day.

Remember animals are not held in captivity and the national park is not a Zoo, We promise to do our best to find as many animals as we can, but we can't warranty that you will see certain animals are certain times. Their house is about 1000 hectares of land and the national park is only %10 of the property open to the public so they have many places to go.
This it is a GROUP activity be nice and courteous with others during the activity.
Remember only water,any kind of juices, fruits and already prepper sandwiches are allowed in the national park

We had a great time on our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park thanks to our guide, Andrew. He was full of great info on Costa Rica’s flora & fauna and knew just the places to look to find the insects & animals. We decided very last minute, the day before actually, to take the tour and all the tickets to the park were sold out but Jason was able to get us tickets from another tour company. We originally signed up for the 7 AM tour but they pushed us back to 7:30. I assume this was because there weren’t enough people signed up for 7 AM. It wasn’t a big deal and our group of 10 total, two families of four and a couple had ample time to see all the cool stuff Andrew pointed out along the way. He also took some great pictures with the best phone in the group and then had the woman air drop the pics to everyone else, genius. We ended at the beach which was beautiful and relaxing. You didn’t have to deal with the rip currents we had in Jaco and the waves were just right. We met another couple at the beach that didn’t have near the same tour experience with another guide so we were even more thankful for Andrew. We would definitely recommend Wakoo on your visit to Manuel Antonio.

My 15-year-old daughter and I took a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park with other tourists and guided by Andrew. It was a fantastic tour, even the time (7.30-9.30 am) was perfect. In the rain forest there was good weather around 25/26 degrees Celsius. Walking in the rain forest is an unforgettable experience: being surrounded by the dark green, the scent of the plants, the chirping of the tropical birds. Our guide Andrew is also a biologist and was very precise in describing the flora and fauna and the ecological relationships between the animal and plant species. He showed us many animals, sloths, monkeys, spiders, lizards, spectacular birds, hidden and protected by the forest. He explained well their ecological niche, their adaptability and the peculiarities of their behaviour. He was very competent and patient with all of us, very kind and funny. Thank you very much!

Andrew was a phenomenal tour guide . Knowledgeable and found all the animals we wanted to see. Worth every penny to spot the wildlife and take great pictures through the spotting scope. Additionally , the parking accommodations and specifically the detailed directions helped us park right near the entrance and avoid all the scammers! Plus Restaurant Donde Alex right by the parking area was good and a perfect spot to watch the monkeys frolic around town. Just pay in colones , because the conversion rate was not good in dollars.

Definitely need a guide when you visit MA. The instructions provided by Wakoo about where to park and meet were clear. Andrew was our guide and he was great! We had an amazing time.

Seeing sloths! Francisco was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeable. I would suggest bringing food! We planned to get food and drink at the coffee place but it was closed!!

This tour group is awesome. When you drive into town, everyone tries to get you into their lot and use them as guides. All I had to say was we had a tour with “Jason” and they left us alone and said we were lucky. One person actually escorted us to the parking lot that Jason recommended (great lot with video surveillance and an attendant). Andrew (works with Jason), provided the tour for us. I can’t say enough about how good Andrew was. We had walked around by ourselves for 2 hours and saw nothing. Andrew spotted 2 and 3 toed sloths, monkeys, birds and nesting birds, various insects, eggs and shared a lot of information. Well worth the money.

We had a great time at Manual Antonio and it was because we had an expert guide. Wakoo tours prepare you very well with clear explicit instructions and steer you past very aggressive alternatives. This company was very clear about arrival, parking, pictures of the parking attendant and your guide. Andrew was great and pointed out things we never would have seen on our own.
