Javier made the park come alive for us. He was very knowledgeable and opened our eyes to the diversity of the park. He could identify the most interesting wildlife for us and was happy help take pictures

Daniel was an excellent guide! So knowledgeable, interesting and funny! He kindly helped us to find the animals with our cameras, as well as showing us the animals for clearly using his viewfinder. He clearly knew a lot and we were lucky enough to see at least 4 sloths, birds including some in nests, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, iguanas, spiders, snakes, crabs, lizards, basilisk and so much more! This was all rounded off by cool towels that were so refreshing and snacks of fruit, a sandwich and water.

Our guide Daniel was amazing, It was a real pleasure to spend time with him, a passionate person who shares his knowledge with great pleasure. Daniel has been doing this job for 20 years, but he's still as excited as if it were the 1st time, and that's a real pleasure!

This was a great trip, really well organised from our pick up from our hotel to the park itself. Danny was able to find animals we simply wouldn’t have seen on our own and shared great facts too. He was an incredible guide, he was so knowledgable and his love of the park shone through, which made the experience. Danny took photos for our group using his spotting scope and sent these to us afterwards. It was great that we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel but could have chosen to stay longer if we had wanted to. A great morning out, thank you.

Daniel was an excellent guide. He was friendly and enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the park. He had quite an eye for spotting even the tiniest spider. I’m glad I did the tour, I wouldn’t have been able to see and learn as much as I did without his expertise.

Great experience! It rained when we went (the only day it decided to rain during our time there) but we were still able to see some amazing animals, including the sought after sloth! Our guide, Edgar, was truly an expert and understood the rainforest exceptionally well. He had quite the ear to hear the sounds of the animals and was great at making sure we got some really great photos. The views were not so great due to the rain, but you can tell in other circumstances the views would be amazing including the beaches!

Did a nature tour at MA with Danny. He was great. It was clear that he loved his job and was happy to teach so much about the animals, Costa Rica, and the environment. This review rating is strictly about the guide and what he provided. I'll touch on that later. Danny had a scope and was able to spot various animals for us including: grasshoppers, sloths, howler monkeys, iguanas, and more. I definitely saw more with the help of Danny than if I had gone alone. So for that I believe it is worth it. He took photos through the scope and shared them with us all afterwards. I will say that Manuel Antonio is packed. There were tons of people and at every stop there were multiple groups with scopes looking at the same thing. Just understand this is what you are getting into. If this is not the vibe you're looking for you may look elsewhere. That said the park is very beautiful, the wildlife is abundant, and the beaches at the end of the tour are absolutely beautiful.

A great experience with Edgar. Despite the rain he was still able to spot animals for us and make the tour very pleasant! Would do again

Great tour and a friendly guide. At the end you have the chance to stay and explore on your own or be brought back to your room which is nice. Would recommend this tour.
