Unique experience at the Dead Sea and Mandala that every one must have. Professional guide and driver
Itamar was a great guide! Although they had many tours going all over it was very organized. He was very clear where, when, and how long we had for everything as well as being knowledgeable about the area. We had so much fun at the Dead Sea, just wish we had more time!
Well managed and delivered beautifully by the guide. Good detail and amazed at how each person in the group was looked after! Well done!
The Masada site was inaccessible the day of this trip due to flooded roads, but our guide, Daniel, found an assortment of other sites to go to and which proved well worth visiting thanks to Daniel's insightful commentary throughout the day. Daniel was a great guide: patient with questions and thoughtful in his answers and as a result, he was able to turn our initial disappointment into a very rewarding experience. Thanks.
Very interesting trip, well organised with good guide. Cause if windy weather we were not allowed to swim in Dead Sea
i will never use your company again. you have sales people that are lying and you not standing behind they promises
the trip was great until leaving Masada in the evening. There was confusion and delay as there
was a problem as some of the passengers needed and were promised to be returned to Jerusalem instead of Tel Aviv and others had to be moved from another bus to ours and we had to wait about an hour, which made us late getting late into Tel Aviv and the traffic. Our guide suggested we should get off the bus and walk back to our hotel or take a Taxi.....why would a Taxi get us to our destination back sooner than a bus ????.........and telling tired people it was a nice night and
they should walk back to hotel. We are travel agent attending a conference and I would think twice
to sell Viator...Helga Williamson International Tours Austin Tex
A full, very organised and informative day. Enjoyed all aspects of the trip. Make sure you take water shoes to wear at the Dead Sea as the ground down to the sea is rough and too hot for your feet. Excellent guide. Thoroughly recommend this trip. Good value for money.
Reut, the best guide we had, always customer oriented
Just a little bit disapointed by dead sea water, too much mud.
Same experience at Cape Verde where sait water is really beautiful
But globally, excellent tour
This trip was great. I didn’t know much about Masada beforehand but our guide, Amir, was fascinating and had so much knowledge. He also made adjustments for people in the group, letting them wander round on their own if they had difficulty keeping up with the group. There are quite a few steps but there are places to sit in various locations around the site if you have mobility issues.
The cable cars up tend to be very busy and there aren’t many places to sit, though that probably depends on the time of year. However it’s a great view on the way up and there are stunning views from all around when you’re up there.
The Dead Sea was really good fun - I was advised in advance to cover up any cuts etc with waterproof plasters as otherwise they can sting. I advise you to take your own towel and also the changing rooms have a lot of mud and salt trailed in on the floor so you may want to bring something to clean this off after the showers. The lockers work via credit card but bear in mind you can only open them again once or you have to pay again.
There is apparently a cart to take you down to the beach if you have mobility issues. I managed to miss this and it is quite a long walk down to the beach and a lot of steps. I tried to locate the carts for the way back up but couldn’t see anything.
There are various chairs around the shoreline where you can leave your towels, although I wouldn’t recommend leaving personal items unless they’re inexpensive.
You could have about half an hour or so in the sea depending on how quick you are to get in or out but that was enough for me and I really enjoyed the experience. The guide leaves you alone during this section of the tour. You do stop at a shop along the way with Dead Sea merchandise and there is also more you can buy at the actual location, plus as part of the tour you get a demonstration of a few products.
Overall this was an excellent tour and I’m so glad I did it.
