Overview

Itinerary:
Paint your mask using acrylic tempera paints of different colors, and then add finishing touches with feathers, ribbons, sequins. Under the guidance of our artist, you’ll choose a mask from more than 50 different models all handmade in papier maché and decorate it according to different techniques.

Fun class but proprietor rushed us through saying she had another class coming. Not a lot of instruction given. The other students in the class were fun to talk to. I had to stop at one shop and then got sent to another location for the class. I was a bit late and she did not want me to stay over. Perhaps they should allocate more time per class. I was relaxing painting until she was clock watching and telling us every few minutes how much time we had left. Ugh

This was very fun! The owner was very supportive. We had complete freedom to do what we wanted but she would offer suggestions if we asked! Great time!

It was a very nice experience, the people were very nice, very helpful and experiencing it with other people around the workshop table works perfectly! I just wish we had a little bit more time in the end and that were given a little bit more instructions to guide our work, but maybe I should have asked! It’s a little pricey but the truth is we step out of there with a very well spend hour and with a personalized souvenir of our days in Venice!

What a shop! Not only did we get expert assistance developing our mask designs, we received commentary on the history of Venician masks and the story of each of the characters they represented. Highly recommended for all ages!

Great time and she was excellent in helping our group of 8. However ac was out and we were very uncomfortable along with 8 people doing painting. Overall end results was good

We had a good time, but our masks could never be like any mask you see displayed even if you have good paying skills. The products and brushes supplied for the project are not what is used on the professional masks. I chose a simple cat half mask, but it would have been better to just choose an eye mask due to the limited time allowed. Our helper gave us an extra half hour, but I still couldn’t finish.
