This winery tour was very enjoyable and John was so knowledgeable, he provided running commentary about the places we visited and New Zealand. We visited a number of beautiful scenic places on our way to two wineries. The wineries and lunch were superb and I would highly recommend this tour.

We had the best day wine tasting and sightseeing with John. This is our first visit to New Zealand and this tour gave us a great introduction to the beautiful countryside and wine. The wineries had excellent wines and lunch was delicious. We even fit in a stop for ice cream. We highly recommend this tour.

Our excursion was awesome! John is an excellent host and tour guide. His knowledge of wines, New Zealand's history and current happenings lead to conversations during our drive around the coastal area. Everything was just perfect: chocolates, cheeses, lunch and the wines! Our group of four joined John for two different tours during the week. I highly recommend John and NZ WINEPRO to anyone visiting New Zealand for a wonderful experience.

This was an excellent tour. John is delightful and very knowledgable. He couldn’t have been nicer. We went to two wineries and had a wonderful lunch at one of them. We got to do some chocolate tasting and were taken to a couple of scenic spots along the way. Totally enjoyable and interesting day. Would highly recommend.

Can't believe we live so close to Matakana and yet it took John's tour for us to experience such good wine, great company and really outstanding food. This included some heavenly chocolate tasting too. Great wine tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had a perfect day which was made even more special by the wild parrots seen at the last vineyard.

Spent an incredible day with John, exploring Matakana and some of the excellent vineyards and wineries along the way. An intimate experience which will be in our memories forever. Wine, cheese and chocolate along the way. What more could one ask for on a lazy, scenic Sunday :) Our lunch along the way was superb. We loved the experience and will be back for more. Hopefully soon. Now have a couple of bottles of great New Zealand wines added to our collection. Thanks John for the recommendations. We are very pleased.

We did this tour because we couldn’t go to Australia to visit family due to the corona virus. It was the best tour while we were in New Zealand. John the owner and our tour guide was wonderful. He took us to 3 fantastic winery’s, a cheese factory and a chocolate factory. We also had a fantastic lunch at one of the winery’s . John took use to some great places to site see in the country area of Auckland . At the end of the tour John also dropped us off at a restaurant near the pier which he recommended because we wanted to try some of the local oysters and seafood. It was great ! This is a must do tour if you are in Auckland ! Thank you John for a wonderful tour ! Nick & Kristen

The Matakana Scenic Coastal Getaway was fabulous. My husband and I did a lot of tours while in Australia and New Zealand and this was by far the best. We visited a cheese factory where we tasted fabulous cheese then wine tasting and lunch at a cute boutique winery. Then on to another winery for more tasting then wrapped up with chocolate tasting at a chocolate shop. The lunch at Plume at the Runner Duck Estate Winery was one of the best meals we have had our whole trip. This trip was laced with side trips to see awesome beaches and scenery. John, the driver, guide, owner was a wealth of info about wine, the area and the culture.

This tour with John was probably one of the best tours we have ever taken! He was personable, accommodating and knew the history well. We enjoyed the personal touches he made to make our first trip memorable! If this is your first trip or 100th trip to New Zealand, I would highly recommend him!
