Very interesting tour, with luxury van. Betty our tour guide and Minh our driver are an excellent combination. They showed us lots of interesting things, especially the tour through the delta in a small rowing boat is worth the experience.

We had a wonderful day. When booking this day trip, we decided to take the non-touristy choice which included the Mekong delta river cruise after which we licked up bikes and enjoyed a terrific two hours bike ride through tiny villages, thru dragon fruit farms, rice fields and roving paths. After all the touring and visits thru markets and shopping area in other cities, we felt this bike ride adventure would provide us from a welcome change. We so enjoyed the group, our tour leader was amazing and decided we had definitely made an excellent tour choice.

There are so many Mekong tours and we are glad that we picked this one. There were only 6 of us (awesome) in the VIP tour, and the guide Tú was fantastic! He has so many stories to tell although some were sad (that’s life). What I liked most is he managed to avoid the crowds, we would be leaving before the next big crowds arrived. Lunch was plentiful. I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything during the tour or to tip, unlike some of the reviews of other tours that I have read. All in all, 5-star experience!

Had an awesome tour with the friendly, helpful and hilarious Ken! He guided us through every step of the tour. The bike ride was my favorite.

It would have been helpful if the tour information included appropriate dress for the Pagoda part of the tour. Fortunately our guide offered me his jacket to wear for this part of the tour and it was appreciated.

Our guide Viet was excellent at organizing the tour in a timely fashion. The actual tour however had some cons. It was very, very touristy and most notable during the rowboat ride on the Mekong River. The many, many rowboats on the river were at times aggressive and bumped into our boat along the two kilometre ride. The rowboat drivers weren’t exactly shy at asking for a tip either. Our lunch wasn’t too bad but the portion of fish wasn’t enough for the number of guests. The soup was quite delicious.
Be prepared for a very long bus drive to the river. It takes about one hour and 45 minutes total which isn’t mentioned in the tour information.
Everyone on the tour was dropped off at either their hotel or market. We were the last customers to be dropped off at our hotel and to our dismay the bus driver dropped us off across the busy street from our hotel. He didn’t attempt to drive us into our hotel. He left us to try and cross the busiest street with no cross walk. If we had even attempted to cross we would have risked our lives. We had to walk in the opposite direction about a half mile to find a safe place to cross. We were not at all impressed therefore a three star review.
