Old Melbourne Tour
Meet your guide at Federation Square to begin your 1.5-hour journey into old Melbourne. Hear the mysterious account of Federici, a famous opera singer who disappeared from the stage through a trap door and died. Legend goes that he's been spotted on stage several times since the incident. On the 19th-century streets, poor houses provided bodies in the name of advancing medical science; opium dens cultivated their own style of mystical unrest. Get a glimpse into the Melbourne of yesteryear as you walk the dark streets with your entertaining and informative guide. Upgrade with an optional dinner at Melbourne’s pub, the Young and Jacksons, known for a haunting tale or two! Dinner starts two hours before the walking tour. Tour available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Pentridge Prison Tour
Make your own way to Pentridge Prison in Coburg, about 20 minutes by car from the center of Melbourne, to meet your guide for a 2-hour, adult-only walking tour. Famous Australian criminals were incarcerated here during the century and a half that the prison was open. It's no wonder that hauntings are reported here! Hear captivating stories from your informative guide about notorious prisoners like gangster Chopper Reed, bushranger Ned Kelly, and the last man executed at the prison, Ronald Ryan. You'll have some time for a spine-tingling stroll through the hallways of this eerie locale. Try not to think about the 44 bodies that are buried on the grounds! Tour available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Williamstown Tour
Visit forgotten cemeteries, abandoned morgues, and hidden alleys in Victoria's historic seaport. Begin your 2-hour tour at the Hobsons Bay Visitor Information Center and take a leisurely stroll by lamp light through the original capital of Victoria, King William's Town. Once a lively town full of drunken sailors, convicts, and ladies of the night, Williamstown's lively history reveals a darker side. Your expert guide leads you on this walking tour that includes visits to Victoria's oldest morgue, Melbourne's only opium den, and the Timeball Tower. Upgrade to include an optional dinner at the Steam Packet, a pub haunted by the ghost of an opera singer. Tour available every Friday and Saturday evening.

  • Very enjoyable and we caught a ghost on camera!!

  • Be aware that this tour is located about 30 minutes outside of the city. We took an uber, but the alternative with the train would have taken awhile. I have been on ghost tours in other parts of the world, and this was by far the creepiest. You learn about the history of the prison, but the tour also aims to create an element of fear, if you like that kind of stuff, this is for you! I found it slightly misleading that it stated it was in Melbourne, but farther out from the city center,

  • Potted history of Melbourne, some interesting bits, some dull bits.

  • More history, than ghost. Need better instructions on how to meet tour guide. Maybe a sign to direct people. Guide needs to also carry sign, umbrella etc. so the tourists can follow them easily. Had trouble seeing him in the crowds of people.

  • The tour ran a bit longer than the 90 minutes, but saying that, the tour guide was excellent, highly recommended.

  • Great to try something different and to learn a little history

  • A very informative tour guide who was great at setting the tone for the evening. We had a party of 9 for our daughter's 18th birthday, and everyone enjoyed the tour and all the information of the histroy we just did not realise of our city. Not really that spooky given how busy the city was, but still a lot of fun.

  • On our ticket it said meet at federation square it never said where to meet we got there at 5 past 8 looking everywhere for a sign or a person i doubled checked my ticket to see if i had missed something etc so we never got to go on tour which was a birthday present for my partner

  • Dinner at Young and Jackson was great and a good way to kick off the tour. Matt was on time and full of information. I saw parts of Melbourne that I had not seen before so that was eye-opening and the history was interesting. All in all a great way to start our weekend break in Melbourne.

  • It was informative from a history point of you and knowing what happened. As for the ghost experience it was dismal
