  • The service is OK but it could have been better. You are booking a shared ride, not a private trip directly to your hotel. Depending on how many others are in the van with you, there are other stops to drop off other passengers. Be advised that there is also follow-up required after booking online in that you need to call the company in Mexico a minimum 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup to confirm. I was able to communicate with the company easily whenever I called. The Good: They were responsive to me any time I called. Our flight arrived late to Mexico City and once we got through immigration and baggage claim, we were two hours late to the scheduled pickup time. I was worried about our scheduled pickup and the driver still being around. When I got to the pickup point, our driver was nowhere to be found. I called the company and they provided instructions on where to meet a new driver at the airport. All things considered, after arriving two hours late thanks to our flight, I was very satisfied that they were able to get me another driver with minimal delay. The Bad: The main reason for the two-star rating was that on the day we were scheduled to leave, we had a pick up time of 6:50am and they were 20 minutes late with no notice and no apology. I had to call to find out if they were coming. We didn't want to risk missing our flight so we ended up taking another taxi to the airport. So if you are OK with a shared ride and more follow-up needed after booking online then they are fine.

  • Good! They were on time!!

  • Getting picked up from the airport was a breeze. There was someone waiting with a sign with my name on it. However, when it came to get picked up to go back to the airport, the driver was almost an hour late. Luckily both my friend and I were still able to make out flights, just a little nerve wracking when you're flying international. Driver was on his phone the whole time, seems pretty unsafe but I don't think there are laws in Mexico preventing this.

  • The transfers and drivers were great and know how to speak English. We will recommend this transfer to our friends.

  • The service was great on picking us up from the hotel. The problem was immigration at the airport. We had to wait almost two hours, so of course the driver didn't wait for us and thought we were a no show. You could get a taxi in the airport easily so I wouldn't recommend catching it from the airport unless you have a Mexican passport. Then the line in immagration moved quickly.

  • No driver

  • An agent from Amigo Tours met us at the airport. She did not speak English and we didn't speak Spanish.
Our ride finally showed up about 30 minutes later and the driver did not speak English.
On the day that we were flying back home our driver never showed on time or call. I tried calling my contact phone number at Amigo Tours but nobody answered. We had to end up hiring a car to take us to the Mexico City airport on time. It happened to be a Mexican holiday Revolution Day so maybe the Amigo driver decided to take the day off.
Whatever the reason, I will never use Viator or Amigo Tours again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.
Too bad it didn't work out. Very unreliable.

  • So glad we got picked up at the airport, as we landed after dark. Safe and speedy. However, the pick up at our hotel for return trip was not as great. We stopped at another hotel, picked up another couple in a tiny clown-car. All the bags wouldn't fit in the trunk, so I had to carry my metal carry-on rolling suitcase on my lap. Not a good way to start the trip at 4:00am! Make sure if they are stopping for others that the car holds everyone plus luggage.

  • No problems at all.
