Know More about this tour

Meet your guide and after a short safety briefing, set out to explore Milan! Stop for photos in front of glitzy monuments and hear Milanese history from your guide. Simply choose from a morning, afternoon or evening tour.

Morning or Afternoon Tour (3.5 hours):
Pedal through the downtown streets, discovering Milan’s glamorous neighborhoods and their countless delights. See the lavish gardens that border the streets of Palestro, and soak up the palazzo chic of the Manzoni district, where ornate buildings showcase the world’s premier fashion houses. As you meander to Piazza della Scala, look out for Milan’s famous theater – Teatro La Scala.

Explore the chic streets of Brera, with its narrow church-lined streets and upmarket houses, and then admire the exterior of Castello Sforzesco in all its Renaissance glory. Hear how this impressive castle was built for the first duke of Milan in the 14th century and is now a popular museum complex.

Other highlights include the Piazza Gae Aulenti, and Colonne di San Lorenzo – Milan’s oldest Roman ruins. Before returning to Porto Venezia, head to the neighboring square to see Milan Duomo.

Evening Tour (3 hours):
However captivating Milan is by day, it’s somehow even more so by night, when the city’s monuments are bathed in a soft evening glow and the glamorous Milanese sit outside enjoying their aperitivos (pre-dinner drinks). Soak up the ambiance on a route around the city center, taking in several sites seen in the morning and afternoon tours such as the Palestro neighborhood.

Admire the fountains under Castello Sforzesco’ lit-up ramparts and Parco Sempione, the vast park just behind Castello Sforzesco. See Ponte delle Sirenetta – a pretty bridge with cast iron statues and then continue to Colonne di San Lorenzo.

Pass further top city attractions like Milan Duomo, Piazza Mercanti and the famous Teatro La Scala, while hearing tales and trivia about the city. Finish back at Porta Venezia, and after returning your bike, your guide will point you in the right direction to get back to your hotel.

  • Likely the best way to see Milan! The tour allows you to see many locations to give you a more complete appreciation of the city. One note of caution: adults in Milan rarely wear helmets, so either bring your own helmet or prepare to wear a vintage style.

  • The bike tour allowed us to venture a little outside of the touristy parts of Milan. It was a great day and awesome time.

  • really knowledgeable guide and a great way to see more of Milan

  • Very fun for our family. Fun way to see the city.

  • This was not worth the money. The guide was like a talking book and gave us no time for taking pictures. It was all details and lecture. Couldn't wait to be done with it so we could explore on our own.

  • We got lost on the way to the meeting point, tried calling the number 10 minutes prior to the start time of the tour but there was no answer. We arrived 15 minutes late and as we expected there was no one at the meeting point. Called the contact number again and this time the call was answered, I asked if we could catch up to the tour group but was advised no and that they had tried to call my mobile - I had no missed calls. They agreed to let us transfer to another day and would send available times to my mobile number ... no message was received as advised. We understand that it was our fault for being late however disappointed we missed the tour and even more disappointed with the customer service provided. We always use Viator for our tours but if this is how your local providers treat regular customers we will have to think twice before making further bookings.

  • This tour was a great way to see a lot more of Milan than a walking tour. I would certainly recommend it. We did almost miss the tour though because we didn't realize that the meeting spot was with our guide on the corner of a street from where he then took us to the shop to get our bikes. We had thought we were given the address of the bike shop and spent about 15 minutes looking for the shop before we noticed our guide on the street corner. Once we found him though, he did a wonderful job of showing us Milan

  • The guide was terrible. She had no communication skills. Ignored everyone else. 2 guests fell from the bike and the guide was not even aware. Been these tours all around the world but this one with Italian guide (with a terrible English accent) was the worst. Milan is a beautiful city though.

  • Great guide and interesting tour, recommend this tour

  • Excellent tour, it was a great overview of the city and guide was very knowledgable. Barely any hills so nothing too stressful. Would recommend but be prepared for the aftermath of being on a bike for 3.5 hours!
