Tour was good but not great. Website description not accurate. It states that your tour will end at the location it started and it says tour will end at Last Supper location, which it actually did. After starting 15-20 minutes late, our guide ended the tour abruptly with no instruction how to return back to our original location.
The guide, Maximilian was excellent. He was knowledgeable, patient, and yet quick. The tour is worth taking. The suggestion is to first go in a bus and then return to the office before departing. The tour is evenly placed and comfortable even for senior citizens.
Be prepared for long walks and a bus ride. Hot in August.. Massimo was superb, knowledgeable and professional with a warm Italian touch and demeanor. Somewhere I thought I read there would be air conditoned transport. Oh well..., luved the experience minus the walking and standing in the heat
Seeing the Last Supper was highlight of the tour. The tour guide was excellent. Spoke English very well and made sure our group stayed together. It was a very hot afternoon but she kept the group light hearted with humor and positive attitude.
It was extremely hot and almost no accommodation was made for this. The audio was spotty. It was hard to follow the short woman who did not hold her camouflaged sign very high. I thought the tour would include the duomo roof (my mistake I guess) and we spent 10 minutes at the last supper - for an astronomical price. I think most people would have been happy with two hours for the same price on a 97 degree day.
Máximo was absolutely fantastic and so knowledgeable! His information and story telling abilities kept you so intrigued and wanting more! Highly recommend!
Great tour of La Scala, the Duomo, and the Last Supper. The main reason we did the tour is because we couldn’t secure our own tickets to the Last Supper (even 2+ months ahead of time) and we didn’t want to miss it. I guess the tour companies buy them up, which is annoying. However, our guide Massimo was great and gave us a lot of interesting history and information. The only slightly annoying part was that after the Duomo that we went on the company’s “hop on/hop off” bus (which wasn’t clear from the tour description) to get to the Last Supper and it was a very circuitous route. I would have rather walked there directly and ended the tour a bit earlier.
Excellent opportunity to visit La Scalia, Duomo, and Last Supper. Guide was very informative and Tour included nice walking part and sightseeing by Bus. Good Value!
Excellent tour, great tour guide very clear instructions and passions from the guide. We enjoyed a lot for this tour
The tour guide, a middle aged gentlemen (sorry I don't have his name) was really great and his commentary was so interesting. Also, there was a mistake on booking dates. We showed up for the tour on June 28th and it was booked for July 28th! I'm not sure it was my mistake or theirs, but they put us on the same tour the next day which was very good of them and "saved the day". I would recommend this tour. If you are older or handicapped, be aware that there is a lot of walking involved.
