A good guide/ A small group/interesting sites /great visit of the LAST SUPPER/
La scala's visit of the theatre was too short and of the museum Too long/
On the whole it was enjoyable
This was a dream tour for me. A history student myself, the back story to Leonard's masterpiece is fascinating, and Nadia made it a dream come true with her eloquent descriptions and suggestions about how to expore more about. The tour of the Duomo and La Scala, about which Nadia was also very informed, were beautiful sides to an amazing main.
Milan 's tourist area is compact and most tours are walking tours . I was happy to find a tour that transferred you between sites by bus .While their was a bit of walking , it was manageable
The tour was very informative. Unfortunately, the audio quality was spotty, with lots of static on the radios.
We enjoyed our guide. He was very knowledgeable.I would suggest adding the crypt to the tour of the Duomo. An additional suggestion would be to have a five minute view of Santa Maria della Grazie
The guide was very knowledgable but the tour numbers were large (50) so that we did not always see what he was pointing to. This was really bad in 'La Scala' museum as he talked about things which we were no where near.
At the Last Supper we were divided in two and that was much better. We also were able to hear questions from others. Obviously we heard him as the radios were excellent. Unfortunately we had a vet day but were able to fo back and take photos the next day at the Cathedral and work out what he was talking about re the scenes depicted in the marble exterior.
The sights were beautiful but because there were about 60 of us. we were rushed in and out of the sights. The radios didn't work well, lot of crackling and even though people complained the tour guide didn't care. Felt like cattle. At one point the whole bus was kept waiting for 4 tourists who were with another guide and they were late returning back which caused us to be late and so had to rush to the subsequent venues. The tour guide had to split the group to go inside to see the Last Supper and so half waited until the 1st set came out, by then the tour guide was spent and we didn't hv enough time. Disappointing tour.
The tout was very disappointing. Guide did not give much information whilst on coach, with long silences. La Scala was very disappointing as could not go into theatre due to rehearsal. The last supper was very good.
The tour was not what we expected. We bought it 3monthes ago, paid and got confirmation.BUT last week got an email that there's no tickets to see Last Supper! Also there were Pink Run in the city so we cant go by bus which was expected! And still we didnt get a difference for smaller tour... anyway guide was perfect, friendly etc.
Excellent pace, well explained and quite entertaining. We initially only went with the tour to get into Last Supper, but the information we got about the other Milan attractions were great and enlightening. Thank you to Beatrice, our tour guide.
