Know More about this tour

Meet your guide and small group in central Milan and set out on a walking tour of the city.

Start with a visit to the UNESCO-listed church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a true masterpiece designed by the architect Bramante, and visit the Dominican convent where the world-renowned “The Last Supper” is displayed. Avoid the queues with skip-the-line entrance and enjoy a guided visit to the iconic mural painting, designed by the Italian genius of Renaissance art, Leonardo da Vinci. Take the time to admire the masterpiece up close as your guide points out details about the composition, the perspective effects, the use of colors, and much more.

Just a few blocks away, continue your tour with a visit to the 16th-century church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, the “Sistine Chapel” of Milan, considered one of the finest yet little visited artistic jewels of the city. Here, disciples of Leonardo decorated the walls, the side chapels and the ceiling with colorful frescoes.

Finally, stop to admire the imposing Castello Sforzesco and stroll through the surrounding Sempione Park, as you learn more about the Sforza family, who once inhabited the royal fortress.

Your tour ends in central Milan.

  • Loved this experience. The Last Supper is a must see. They only entertain small groups for 15min each. So it's perfect. David was a very helpful guide

  • This is the best way to see The Last Supper. Our guide explained important historical information that was new to us. We have visited this treasure before but on our own. It is worth the tour to gain insight and knowledge. To our surprise, you are allowed to take photos/video. This was new to us since a few years back there was no video or photography allowed. Please be aware that they are very strict about flash photography not allowed. Our guide was terrific!

  • This was a great tour, our guide was informative and very nice. We saw a lot of things, learned a lot of history and truly enjoyed this tour. Be advised you only get 15 minutes with 'The Last Supper' - that is true of any booking to see this piece.

  • We participated in this tour on our arrival day in Milano after traveling all night from the US, but still found it most enjoyable. Our guide added much to our understanding of what we were seeing as well as the other sights in the city. I would have just gone to see The Last Supper without a tour, but I now realize how much more I enjoyed both the painting and the city as a result of taking it. I would recommend this tour to all.

  • Excellent Tour and wonderful guide

  • Fantastic trip and guide. Was the highlight of our time in Milan.

  • Tour guide made it amazing. She was so knowledgeable and engaging. It was super hot and was with two kids and we were on our sixth day of paintings and museums and she kept everyone's interest. Highly recommend

  • One of our favorite tours. We had a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide.

  • I really enjoyed this tour. There is few places in Milan from the Renaissance, and this tour takes you to all of them. There was one part of the tour we were not able to do because of the time of the day, and because there was a service going on inside one of the churches. I was disappointed that I missed out on seeing that one location, but besides that the tour was great

  • I had tried to get tickets for the Last Supper direct from the official website, but they sold out in seconds and there was only one day that we could visit, so I looked for other ways of getting to see it. This tour looked expensive, but it was our only option with a guaranteed visit to the Cenacolo, so I went for it. Very glad I did - a very good guide, very knowledgeable. We saw the Last Supper first and it was great having the detailed explanation of its history. The walk to the Castle was easy and again, it was good to have so much information about its history and the characters involved. We had popped into St Maurizio church on our way to Santa Maria delle Grazie, and had been impressed by the frescos, but we were glad we went back with the tour and learned much more about it and also the Roman remains nearby. All in all a real highlight of our trip to Milan.
