I took a bus tour to Milford Sound and decided to fly from Milford Sound back to Queenstown. Flight was organised with no fuss by my tour guide and I flew with Dean on Glenorchy air. It was a beautiful day and an incredible, scenic and smooth flight back. I must say I was a bit nervous flying in a small plane but it was wonderful. We were picked up by the very nice Perky at the airport and taken to our hotels. Very well organised.

Absolutely amazing! Staff were super friendly, pilot (Jim) was equally informative, funny, and I felt safe the entire time we were in the air. Perky then drove us safely through the Queenstown traffic to town, providing recommendations and answering the questions along the way. Milford Sound is a must do if costing Queenstown and you should absolutely go with Glenorchy Air!

Perfect way to end a fantastic day sightseeing at Milford Sound. Our pilot Jim, was waiting for us at the terminal at Milford and was super friendly and helpful with everything! After he gave us a brief safety briefing and loaded us into the plane he flew with expert precision and ensured that everyone could see something spectacular. His commentary during the flight was helpful and informative. The scenery on the route he took was amazing, flying over Milford Sound, over Henry tunnel and ever over a glacier. After landing in Queenstown the ground crew was cheery and helpful at getting us onto out waiting transport back to the cbd. Our driver Perky was funny and entertaining. Overall a 10/10 experience and one I will always recommend to everyone.

The whole flight was fabulous. Wil was a great pilot, narrator, tour guide, historian, and geologist! We got to see much more than we expected - glaciers, rivers, lakes, Tasman Sea, mountains, fault line, oh and the Milford Sound!

Nice flight, pilot was kind and very experienced on the history of the different places we were flying over. Beautiful, clear day for flying and we even got to land in Milford to pick some people. Very recommended experience.

From start to finish, smiles couldn’t leave our faces if we tried. The whole experience was absolutely amazing and something that we are so glad we decided to splurge on while we are in Queenstown. The commentary from James inflight was on point and really helped add to the whole experience. I can’t recommend this trip enough. A bucket list experience for sure. Thank you to the whole team.

This has been the highlight of my trip to New Zealand. The views from the flight were breath taking and our pilot, Jim, was very informative and calm throughout the flight which helped to calm our nerves. Definitely worth the money and would definitely do it again! Amazing!
