Great bus experience, driver very informative and friendly. Boat trip was a good ride through the sounds. Very lucky with excellent sunny day.
Went with Great Sights tour. The bus driver was 22, the youngest driver in NZ. I absolutely loved the cheeky Kea at Monkey River and the Beautiful Mirror Lake. The catermaran Gen of the Sound was well equipped.
Hello Gill! You did a good job in showing us around Te Anau and Milford Sound. Keep up the good job! Take care and hope to see you again
Stopped to see some wild Kia birds and some pretty sights with snow capped mountains. The lunch was fish & chips … absolutely beautiful fish so fresh. Saw some seals and a penguin too. Spectacular sights
A very full 12 hour experience, but one that we highly recommend!!! This was our second cruise around Milford Sound, but our first bus tour into the area from Queenstown. The bus tour is half the experience...starting with our wonderful driver Hudson. He's very knowledgeable, funny and drove us safely there and back. The beautiful snow topped mountains we saw, the waterfalls, lovely forests were all such a wonderful experience and to top it off the day was clear and sunny. The cruise around Milford sound was a great way to spend 2 1/2 hours, staff were very friendly, food is available on board and the commentary very informative. We were lucky enough to be surrounded by dolphins and could watch seals sunning themselves on rocks. A long day, but a really terrific one with special thanks to our driver Hudson who made the trip such a fun one!!
I had a fantastic experience on this trip! Our tour guide/bus driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed her commentary on the bus to Milford Sound. The nature guides on the boat in the Sound were also very knowledgeable, and able to point out interesting features and wildlife. I was very excited to see fur seals! The boat and bus were very nice, and the food was pretty good.
Exceptional customer service, everything ran smoothly from the on time taxi pick-up to the coach driver Gill. Was able to stop at some extra photo stops along the way. Amazing views and no rain insight. NZ definitely showing off today. Decided to fly back because of the clear skies and it was breathtaking. Pilot wonderful and they arranged taxi drop off. Certainly recommend RealNZ.
We went on a very rainy day where unfortunately even rain jacket doesn’t cut it when you want to be outside the boat on the deck to take some photos of the amazing sights. Pro tip- on rainy weather, bring towels and change of clothes. The experience was great, from coach and cruise it was really good value. We were going to take a flight back but due to poor weather it was not possible. Refund of the incomplete portion was simple and prompt. Ian, our coach driver was a great tour guide. He shared a lot of interesting stories of the land, history and facts along the 5.5hr journey which we wouldn’t know otherwise, so thank you!
1000% recommend! As a kiwi doing the tour for 1st time I was very impressed by how informative, organised, and exciting the experience was. Our guide and coach driver Ian was knowledgeable and interactive with the large group. The cruise speaks for itself - amazing views like no other. Though it was a very wet day, the whole day was beautiful and even got to spot some local dolphins. It was good that the cruise goes up close and stops by the large 100m+ falls for photo opps too. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be coming back again for this tour! Thanks team! :)
fantastic trip the bus trip from Te Anau to Milford itself was a highlight passing huge snow covered mountains ,lakes and ever changing landscapes. Followed by a cruise through the majestic Milford sound This trip is a must do.
