The driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel or any location of your preference in Skopje. First we will go to the hill Vodno (10 minutes driving). From there, using the cable car, we will reach the peak of the mountain, to the 70 meters high Millennium Cross, admiring the view to the city of Skopje and the Skopje plain. We will continue driving to the Ethno village (approximately 15 minutes), situated in the village Gorno Nerezi. Here, we will visit 16 types of houses from different regions of Macedonia and our expert local guide will take you in to every one of them, and tell you a little bit for each one. There are three restaurants in the village, and you can choose the one for lunch. The last visit for today is the monastery St. Pantaleimon, where you can see the fresco of Lamentation of Christ, painted in 1164. This fresco is considered one of the forerunners of the Renaissance, because it is painted 150 years before the similar one from Giotto. At the end of the tour, we will drive back to Skopje, and drop you off in any location of your preference in Skopje.
