Overview

The legendary creatures of Danish folklore are more than just the Little Mermaid immortalised by H. C. Andersen. The Danish bestiary also includes such monsters as man-eating trolls, dragons who hoard treasures and fight against bulls, the heraldic wild men depicted on the royal coat of arms and the strange creature known as the Sea Bishop. Even the centre of Copenhagen that draws the most tourists and traffic is haunted by mythical beasts who are seen in statues, reliefs and artwork on buildings.
Yet many of these monsters remain unknown to most visitors. You can, however, now fill this gap in your folkloric knowledge. Download the HidDenmark Monstour VoiceMap unto your Smartphone. It will guide you on a journey from the Tivoli amusement park over the Copenhagen Stock exchange to the canals, while narrating how weird tales of strange and terrible beings have shaped the capitol of the country.

Interesting walk through the inner city of Copenhagen. We a lot of fun. It was nice to decide when to have breaks and how long we wanted to walk around.

Es un inglés difícil de entender y no hay texto para guiarte. Además la aplicación va bastante mal para indicarte donde ir...

The monstour was easy to follow and very interesting to do. Highly recommend this. It only takes an hour of your time and when you're finished you're pretty close to the Nyhavn.

It was my first but definitely not my last audio tour. Good length of the tour with enough info to follow. Good directions guide. I can really recommend it.

I loved this tour! Very easy to follow and very informative. You will find out plenty of stories of monsters and ghouls as well as architecture and the history of Copenhagen. It takes you some places that would may not have visited before. Would definitely do more of these!

I love monsters and myths and this was the perfect way to start a city break. We often join ghost tours when we arrive in a city to get our bearings and learn some interesting local legends. This provided all of that but with the added ease of having it on our phones to walk at our leisure. Well worth it! Also added invaluable local knowledge, such as the need to wait to cross even when there’s no traffic or you may get fined.
