Get relax travelling though rolling green hills with a lone cypress at the top or gentle yellow covered hills with rolls of haystacks spread across the fields, you are picturing the breathtaking landscapes of the Val d'Orcia valley in Southern Tuscany. Medieval castles, hilltop towns, charming rural farmhouses, rows of vineyards or of cypress trees and golden wheat fields. You travel in a small group which ensures an intimate experience.

An english speaking driver will pick you up at your centrally accomodation in Rome and drive on the way to Tuscany.
You stop for a short coffe break along the highway then you go on board and keep travelling to North while crossing the enchanting Italian countryside. Your first stop is Montepulciano where you can breath the medieval atmosphere and walk on your own the Montepulciano's cobblestone streets for a unique experience you will never forget. You may sample some local products or buy some souvenirs, or just seat down and let the peace of the place surround you. Then you go back in the van and go for your second stop: a renowned vinery at Montalcino's area where you have the wine tasting while the local guide explaing to you about wine production. Furthermore, you sample some Tuscan bruschetta and the famous "cinta senese" pork. After this, you are ready to discover the cellars and learn much more about wine making. Last destination is Pienza, known as the ideal town of the Pope Pius the second. But the way; this charming village is famous for its pecorino cheese, that is matured in several different ways in order to enhance its flavor and you may try some of it with some marmelades. Around 4 pm you meet the driver-guide and go back to Rome. the tour ends at your centrally accomodation in Rome.
