Overview
Enjoy a full-day tour to Monteverde where the clouds meet the woods andtake an exhilarating walk through the famous cloud forest on hanging bridges. Sky Walk uses trails and a series of suspension bridges for a more relaxing introduction of the flora and fauna of the forest. The Sky Walk tour guides will take visitors both through and above the cloudforest. A series of 8 suspension bridges, connected by trails totaling 1.9 miles (3 km) make this tour extremely feasible for anyone in moderate shape, provides a birds-eye view of the rainforest canopy and visitors will easily be able to study this unique tropical ecosystem, catching glimpses of birds, monkeys, sloths and more as they make their way across, do not forget visiting the Hummingbird Garden.

The tour of the Don Juan coffee plantation was interesting and informative. The butterfly habitat was fascinating, are we got good photos. Unfortunately, heavy rain during the sky walk kept us from seeing wildlife. The forecast was for the highest chance of rain in the afternoon - it would have been much better if the sky walk and the plantation tour could have been switched - they are not very far apart.
