We were left to find our way back down to the Moulin Rouge, bit of a challenge. The Musee d'Orsay is extremely far from this area.
This was a spirited and informative tour from the Moulin Rouge up the slope through Montmartre ending at Sacre Cour. I highly recommend it. The D'Orsay pass provided could be used any time.
Very disappointed that this tour was cancelled without any notification. We arrived at the meeting site over an hour in advance and did not receive either a text, email, or phone call.
We had a great time learning about Montmartre. Our guide gave us interesting stories about the neighborhood. He also stopped at a local bakery and got us special treats, which were delicious! It was a fun visit and a great way to see this neighborhood. I highly recommend it!
Loved our tour with "Stan". He was knowledgable, funny and personable. He offered wonderful insights to the area and history and made Paris come alive for me!
This was an awesome walking tour, not long but just right for older parents and two young adults. Lovely place and amazing art history. Audrey (if I remember correctly) was delightful and informative. She clearly loves this part of the city.
This was a very fun and informative tour of the Montmartre district of Paris. Our guide was knowledgeable and had many family connections to different landmarks in the area, which gave our visit a very personal touch. From the history of the artists who lived in the area, to recommendations for restaurants and metro stops, he was full of information. Plus the stop along the way for some treats was a nice break. We highly recommend this tour to be able to check out some less touristy areas of Paris.
Tour was good. Lots of information, but feel the tour could be 60 minutes instead of 90 minutes. Side note, make sure you know what exhibits are open at the d'Orsay museum. The only exhibit I waned to see was temporarily at another museum.
This tour was so much fun! It was interesting and amazing! Our tour guide, Romain, was amazing! He kept us interested by telling us stories about the art, making competitions to find the art first, and made us laugh the entire time! My entire family enjoyed it! I would definitely do it again and recommend it to anybody, even if you don’t like art.
Montmartre is a beautiful area and getting to experience it through a wonderful walk with a wonderful guide, Audrey, was the best!
