The journey starts at the meeting point in Barcelona where your guide will take you, in an air-conditioned vehicle, to a small village just 40 km from Barcelona and located in the heart of the Montseny area. Once there, you'll enter the Natural Park and begin enjoying your walk through a leafy path along a typical Montseny stream and begin a gentle climb. During your hike you will see several country houses that are a clear image of what life was like hundreds of years ago.
Montseny is a very unique mountain range, with very unique fauna and flora. As you continue, you will find a Romanesque shrine, and one of the highlights of the itinerary, a monumental Holm oak. With its size and shade, it is an ideal place to stop to rest and admire the view, given its privileged location.
After a stop in a cave that used to be an iron mine, you'll arrive at a rural house, now transformed into a hostel. A place intended for travelers to rest and disconnect from the world, a family of "new inhabitants" from Barcelona will offer you a delicious and traditional lunch. Only local and organic products are used, a real delicacy.
After lunch, you'll return to your vehicle and back to the meeting point in Barcelona.
