Thupten provided an amazing, informative, insightful and first- hand experience tour. His depth of knowledge and insight made for such a special tour as I was the only client on a rainy day in Pokhara. I felt really privileged to be in the company of this resilient, strong and beautiful culture, a proud culture struggling to keep culture alive.... and doing an amazing job at it. Thanks Thupten for giving me this opportunity. Highly recommended.

I also appreciated that all the tours are so well explained in advance and delivered above and beyond expectations. Really well done.

There was a lot of interesting information and lots to see and do. Thutpan has so much knowledge and passion about is country and people. He believes that no question is too silly to be asked. For us there was so much information to take in that we did miss some of it. But this was a fantastic opportunity and the Tibetan food was some of the best food we have had in Nepal!

I was fascinated by Thupten’s knowledge of Tibet and it’s culture, he showed me much more than any guide I’ve been with and he does more, cause he just doesn’t show things as they are but why they are like that, how that happened; and he talks from the heart. In the beginning I was in doubt if I should go, but I believe the experience and the knowledge u receive are worth it and in a way you are helping a cause

Very professional and thoughtful guide. Thupten loves his job and culture, puts all his heart and soul into the tour. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very warm and kind. He is very knowledgeable, full of very interesting information, very wise and friendly. Totally recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in history and life of Tibet. I admired a lot this small yet brave nation in exile. It was very insightful and eye-opening. I would definitely come back again!

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever had. I learned so much about Tibetan Buddhism, history, culture, food, and their ongoing struggle. The day is packed with so many different activities from sitting and chatting with a monk, eating traditional breakfast in a Tibetan home, touring a monastery and two different settlements, and getting a personal exam by a traditional Tibetan doctor. The whole time Thupten was giving us nonstop information about whatever we were eating or seeing. One of the most memorable days I’ve had in Nepal. Don’t hesitate to book the tour.

We throughly enjoyed our tour with Thupten. He is a fascinating and honest individual, with a passion to share his culture and the history of the Tibetan people and the current situation in and outside of Tibet. We loved getting to tour two of the Tibetan settlements around Pokhara, and spending time with a monk and Tibetan doctor was a great addition. The food was great, the people were friendly and overall it was one of the best experiences we’ve had our entire trip.
