10am Meeting in the hotel. Walk or metro to Kuznetsky Most. Set off from Kuznetsky Bridge street, a medieval street that is proudly known as the heart of the city and the destination for fun. You will learn many interesting facts and stories from your guide who will give you a good insight into local life of Muscovites.Your friendly local guide will answer all your questions about when and how Moscow was founded, how everything works in the city and tell you about the latest trends and news in the capital.
10:30am 11:00am Walking around Kuznetsky Bridge street, exploring buildings of 18-19 centuries. Discover a local gem - the Uzbekistan restaurant where Soviet Union`s celebrities used to have big celebrations. The Uzbekistan restaurant boasts a lavish decor of gilded mirrors, carvings & heavy drapes and you may want to come back on your own after the Sanduny baths. You will be passing the Soviet Museum of Arcade Machines, Art-Voyage XXI Gallery and a souvenir shop.
11:15am 11:30am Take a sneak peek at the house where famous Russian salad (Olivie) was invented, learn the history of this national dish and the life story of the cook.
11:30am 12pm- Trubnaya Square, Mother of God Nativity Monastery, one of the oldest nunneries in Moscow, located inside the Boulevard Ring. Find out what Boulevard Ring means for Moscow and get to know some secrets about the city. Learn about the history of Sanduny baths, founded in 1808.
12pm 2pm - Sanduny baths on your own.
Your tour includes the Top Class Bath House experience with bathing in a special department for gentlemen and for ladies, spacious lounge zones, swimming pools, unique interior decorations identical to historical ones and classical Russian steam rooms. The swimming pools resemble ancient Rome Thermos with marble walls, stained-glass windows on the roof and Greek pillars.
Feel like royalty in the Bath House that looks like a medieval castle. The main hall is decorated in Rococo style, while the recreation hall is decorated in Gothic style including huge sofas made of oak and wooden roofing.
