Take this tour!! I took the 8pm tour. Tour guide, Ksenia picked me up at the hotel, we took the Metro to the shooting range. Make sure you take your passport, they will need it to sign you in before you can shoot. No pictures allowed, you are allowed to keep your target when you finish. Exciting tour, Enjoy.

Great tour. Above all - great guide - Victoria. She has a lot of knowledge, is very easy-going and friendly person. She speaks very good English. Was with us almost the whole day - it happened she was our guide during Kremlin tour and also on Moscow Shooting Experience - both tours we took on the same day.
The shooting also tremendous, the only failure - we were not allowed to take photos on the shooting facility. Apart from this - very cool experience. I recommend it to everybody!

Especially our guide was awesome. She interested with us about any issue. Thank you for all.

I absolutely recommend this tour. Our guide was really cool. She picked us up on time and managed everything perfectly. It´s a little bit expensive, but it is worth it.

Viator guide was great, but we were kept waiting for 90 minutes after getting to the shooting club at the assigned time. Staff at registration were rude and evasive when asked nicely about the wait ("just wait or you can go"). Quite bizarrely one of us has to sign over 20 papers to register while the other of us only had to sign two. We were told there would be option to buy extra bullets, but when we asked to do this we were told we would have to reregister at the front and wait another 45 minutes. Instructor seemed disinterested in teaching us how to hit the target and seemed in rush for us to shoot and leave. Photos were not allowed, and there was not even an option to pay extra or a professional photographer to take photos. Overall the experience was a big disappointment.

I give the shooting experience 2 stars for the following:

Firtst there was a problem with the booking whereby the event had to be reschedule.
So I had to do the shooting on the day we left Moscow, what was a bit inconvenient..
However the people of Moscow free tour did all there best to solve this problem.

Second I was very dissapointed that it was not possible to thake photo s at the shooting range, although this is mentioned in the description of the activity.
This makes it a bit expensive, because a good photo is surely what you need to brag with it at home!
Maybe its would be an idee to have a replica ak47 just for photo..

Pluspoint for the girl of Moscow free tour who guide us to the range, and the guy who assist the shooting itself. They where very friendly, enjoyable and helpful.

This was a wonderful experience. We had so much fun and our guide was great. We were lucky because there were few people in the shooting club so we enjoyed even more. It was exciting to shoot with an AK-47 and the shooting distance is challenging. Recommended.

It was great!!! Our guide tell us all about Kalashnikov history and he was very nice and friendly. Once in the shooting club, the instructor explained how to use the AK-47 and we had 20 shoots with that. I had a lot of fun and I recommend this tour.

I gave this "TWO STARS" because the website claims you can take a picture with the gun when that is frankly not true. They have strict "no photo" rules -- eventhough, I tried to explain, they would not have it. I was only able to take the target sheet home. It was a fun experience BUT I was very disappointed. Viator, you should NOT be misleading people.

Eugene was FANTASTIC as a guide. He picked us up from our hotel, and took us to the shooting range for this unique experience. We had a great time. The only problem is that it took a little longer than expected due to the wait at the shooting range. It all depends on how many people are waiting before you, so budget an extra hour for this excursion. Thanks Eugene!
