Know More about this tour

Start your day by being picked up in an air-conditioned Mercedes minibus (18 seats) by your English/Spanish speaking guide. Travel to the ancient city of Mostar. Gain insight into the cultural diversity and unique history of this Ottoman frontier town. Journey up the Adriatic coastline to Neum. Take a short coffee break (own expense) in this seaside town.

Drive to the Croatia- Bosnia-Herzegovina Border. Prepare for the border crossing. Have your passport and all necessary travel documents with you.

After crossing the border, head to Kravice, first sightseeing stop on your tour. In spring this stunning mini-Niagara how it is called by the locals, of 25m cascades pounds itself into a dramatic, steamy fury. In summer the falls themselves are less impressive but surrounding pools become shallow enough for swimming. On Kravice you will stay 45 minutes.

Arrive in Mostar by approximately 12:30 pm. Enjoy a guided walking tour and plenty of free time to stroll around the Old Town. Take in the colorful and dynamic atmosphere of this ancient town, stop to admire the Mosque of Mostar, the Stari Most (bridge) and the famous Turkish House. Delight in lunch (own expense) at one of the local restaurants. There is no better way to learn about recent history of this region than joining us on this tour. Each wall in Mostar is a monument telling the story of this town. Place where East and West met together and survived for 600 years, existed as a border between cultures, nations and religions and the old bridge connecting them all together. Discover with us oriental touch of this region.

Return to Dubrovnik following a short break and another opportunity to enjoy Turkish coffee (own expense).

  • We enjoyed the trip to Mostar as it was eye opening and thought provoking to hear what had happened not that long ago.The waterfall at Kravice was beautiful to behold.

  • Mostar was great. we saw as much as we could in the time we had.. it was a short walk, down quite a few steps to the falls which were also nice to see but not much to do once you got there. quite a long day trip..

  • Audio on bus ride wasn't working. When handed off to Mostar guide for old town, grp was way too large and she immediately took us to a handricraft shop instead of talking about the area. Granted a busy day in town with Red Bull Cliff diving but not an excuse for content of guided tour.

  • One of the best days out. Pavle Paul our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and spoke excellent English. John our driver was friendly and efficient. Given we were crossing the border 4 times, they made everything go smoothly and quickly. Didn't feel rushed.Definitely worth spending the day on this trip.

  • This was a superb trip out from Dubrovnik to Kravice Waterfalls and Mostar.

We were picked up from our meeting place promptly, the small coach we travelled on was very comfortable, and the English-speaking guide was really superb. She gave good information and historical facts without speaking too much, allowing everyone on board to relax.

All in all, an excellent day trip, and good value for money.

  • Great tour with small group. Plenty of time in Mostar (3 hours) and Kravica Waterfalls (1 hour). Be prepared to get your passport stamped a LOT as you will crisscross between Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina. Great tour guide with good English. Only quibble is we arrived 1.5 hours later than described

  • The mini bus was comfortable and cool. Despite the journey being long, it was made as quickly as possible by the driver and the tour guide, and there were regular stops along the way. We got 50 minutes at the waterfalls, which was enough time for plenty of photos and a drink. Mostar was amazing, and the trip included a 30 minute guided walking tour from a local tour guide, which was informative and helpful as she made recommendations for places to eat if we wanted. We got 3 hours in Mostar and although we could have spent longer there, it was enough time to do everything that we wanted to.

  • Coach seats very small. Okay for short journeys but no legroom at all. Waterfalls not as impressive as had hoped but at least a few places to eat, drink, rest etc. Was great to visit Mostar and learn about the war but it was very busy, hot and apart from the rebuilt bridge and other buildings will mostly suit those looking for souvenirs in the bazaars. Not much money but still surprised a visit to the waterfalls didn't include the admission price.

  • Great experience.

  • We travelled on a really hot day 40--- even too hot in the air-conditioned coach so the walk around Mostar was curtailed to a shady restaurant for lunch. Loved the water falls-- would have liked a little longer after a long road trip to relax here..can't miss with the photos here!!
