It was our first time aboard a Harbour Sea Plane. Been wanting to do this for a while and sooo worth every dollar and every minute of this experience. From our pilot, Keaton's warm and friendly welcome to boarding, we were guided on an amazing flying perspective of our Beautiful B.C. like we've never seen before. Even being a home resident of this amazing province, this was one of the best memorable moments and views I've had... especially of BC. Keaton took us from Vancouver Harbour to the Alpine Mountains. Not only did we see Mt. Garibaldi, but flew between the high elevation glacier mountain peaks. Honestly, breath taking and so beautiful to see that raw beauty of our Rocky Mtns! He was friendly and open to dialogue and guiding and informing us about what we were seeing along with some interesting facts and aviation info. We then landed on Widgeon Lake... can I say the smoothest landing conceivable! It was perfect conditions and you didn't even know you were on the water. Amazing! We proceeded to the private beach where he set up our blankets for a quite surprising picinic. The lunch itself was above deli average and we weren't able to finish. Had the most peaceful and blissful hour with my family of 4.... you didn't want the scenery or moment to end for sure! We boarded again with my son now sitting infront to enjoy the frontseat views... off we went as smooth as landing and then quickly flying over the cliff just past the lake,,, unbelievable view. Headed back to Vancouver Harbour and got to see our home and kid's schools. Awesome from beginning to end. Well worth every local or tourist's time to experience this! Thank you Keaton for your expert and safe flying and this overall amazing adventure! Wish we coulda stayed the night at the lake!

On a recent trip to Vancouver my wife said she she could do a float plane tour of Vancouver. Normally my wife does not like small planes so I quickly checked about taking a tour. The 10 and 20 minute tours of Vancouver were sold out but there where a couple seats on the Alpine Lake tour. The Alpine lake tour is about an hour long. The flight takes about 20 minutes up into the mountains and then landing on the lake. There were parts of the flight where the wind was making it a bit turbulent. I was surprised when the pilot backed the plane up to the shore and let us out to walk along the lake shore to take some photos. We loaded up at took off from the alpine lake and returned towards Vancouver. On the way to and from Vancouver the pilot flew through the wilderness peaks, ridges and valleys offering excellent views of the lakes, rivers, glaciers and the endless granite mountains. Back over Vancouver we made a loop around downtown providing views of the city, parks and mountains. We dropped down over Stanley Park and gently landed right back were we started from. My wife said the take off and and landing were smoother than non-float planes. Her only concerns were the occasional turbulence and the noise. Wear ear plugs. They have lots on the plane for you to use.

I cannot recommend this experience more highly. Soaring over Vancouver city and mountains, heading out into the higher peaks and having a lake landing was a once in a lifetime experience. Words barely describe the experience had. Being able to see my home town Vancouver from the air was something else entirely and I can't wait to do another flight again with Harbour Air before summer ends.

Dieser Ausflug war wirklich einmalig gut und ich kann ihn nur weiter empfehlen.
Organisation hat sehr gut funktioniert. Termine wurden eingehalten und das Fluggerät war gut.

A most enjoyable tour but felt the guide/pilot should have had the facility to share information with all passengers in the plane - not just the one in the front seat.

"Ticked my box" for flying in a sea plane, going one better to land on an isolated lake.
    Great views - great experiance.
    Our pilot was very good.
