For comfort and safety reasons, there is a strict minimum height requirement of 150cm and maximum weight of 120kg.

Sneakers or walking shoes are the most comfortable footwear, you are not permitted to wear open-toed sandals or shoes with heels. Layers are the best way to go, t-shirt underneath, then long sleeve jumper and/or jacket. Bear in mind it will be colder at the summit and warmer at the bottom. Sunglasses are a great idea to protect your eyes.

The speed of these trips is dictated by the guide. He or she will ride at the front of the group and control the speed. Several regrouping stops will allow those at the back to catch up and there will be plenty of opportunities for photos.

A well organised and fun experience. Well worth doing especially if the day is bright and sunny as we were lucky enough to have. Thanks to the team

Great family fun day and way for a scenic introduction to Hobart. Make sure you bring a water bottle (we forgot) and your gloves 🧤 all in all well worth it and a great experience :) Carly was a wonderful guide with great local knowledge to share 😊 very accommodating for beginners through to more experienced or confident riders

Callum was great taking us down the mountain - he helped me return to the group when I accidentally sped past them not seeing the group waiting on the side . I hadn’t ridden a bike in 30 years so it was daunting going down the mountain trying to figure out gears and seeing cars passing by. Not for the faint hearted - you do need a bit of nerve. People in the cars were great and patient and we had a van following us behind to make sure we were safe . We did have a few falls but all riders just simply jumped back on. Often the accidents happened when they were not focusing on the road. There were a few off road tracks which also tested skill. Recommend comfortable pants that don’t get caught up in the pedals and a warm jacket and gloves for grip. You will be talking about the trip days after whether you return unscathed or were covered in bruises - you only live once.

Riding guide Callum's inclusion of First Nation's People's experience of colonialism, and the necessity for truth telling before Australia can move forward into healing and justice.

Really enjoyed this experience; so much better than sitting on a bus tour! We had a group of 8 and our guide Nadine was excellent and patient with those who needed to tackle the offroad section a little slower. We were fortunate to have excellent weather and superb views over Hobart.

Great experience and certainly not hard and would do again. Weather was good a little cool at the top but you warm up on the way down.

Highlight of our visit to Hobart. The guides were both entertaining, informative and thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a mini adventure.

Trip to the summit of Kunyayi for amazing views across Hobart, Derwent estuary and beyond. Then it’s time to saddle up for an epic descent down the mountain while the wind whistles and you feel the rush. Only downside is need to concentrate on road so do not get as much time to enjoy the views on way down!
