At a 30 min drive from Santiago, enter a complete different world.
Go off the beaten track on a horseback-riding tour through the mountains of the Santiago area. With an expert English speaking guide, youll follow local arrieros (cowboys) across riverbeds, native forests and along scenic terrain.
You will learn about Chile's horsemanship traditions, spot different native trees, sorts of vegetation, mountain micro-climates, and all of this while enjoy the breathtaking vistas on horseback. For sure some other furry friends like dogs will join us as well.
Activity suitable for beginners and experts...these small but sturdy Criollo horses will put anyone at ease. We lend you some chaps & a helmet for a safe ride!
After our ride, we enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic with wine, coffee, ham & cheese with fresh bread and seasonal fruits.

An absolutely amazing experience! Our time with our tour guides, Willard and Orlando, was incredible. They were both kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The horses were amazing the entire time. We had the most peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful sunset ride. Mirta, Will's wife, was waiting for us with a lovely spread of snacks and drinks and we spent the rest of the evening sharing life stories and experiences. I will always hold this experience close to my heart and hope to return soon. I would absolutely recommend his experience to anyone.

My husband and I are inexperienced riders and we truly have enjoyed the ride. The views are fabulous and the horses are calm. At no time do we have to worry about the horses. They are sweet and well trained. Thanks Therese.

We had such a fantastic experience with our guide Will and his lovely wife and Orlando! The views were amazing, the horses were super easy and relaxing and was so nice to have a lovely meal after consisting of meats, cheeses, fruit, snacks, and delicious wine with Will and his wife and meet Therese the owner. Perfect day activity and you won’t leave disappointed!

My brother and I had a great time with Theresa who helped us feel comfortable with our first experience riding horses. We had a good chat throughout and had a nice lunch in a great location surrounded by mountains. Pick up and drop off was very easy, directly to and from our hotel which was much appreciated. I would recommend this for those who might be nervous about getting on a horse for the first time. Only negative was that I couldn’t take Max the dog home with me!

Really good communication leading up to the day of the ride. The team were willing and able to adjust time and date because of rainy weather. Therese was very nice and helpful giving us rookies help understanding the horses. Took some really cool photos of the foggy mountains that cleared up to see the town below! Mario was quick and efficient in helping us get to/from the location.

Omar and Orlando were excellent host cowboys that made us feel comfortable and at home the whole time we were with them. Orlando's dog Max was also a nice partner for the trip as he "guided" us up the whole trail to the top of the 6,000 ft mountain. The views and scenery were amazing and it was a great way for us to end our time in Santiago. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy a day away from the city where you can ride a horse to see the glacier topped Andes mountains and turn your head and see the whole city of Santiago! Not to mention you get to meet and get to know 2 friendly and awesome people and a great dog.

Barbara provided my young son and I with an excellent experience! In just a short drive, we were quickly removed from the bustle of the city and in an absolutely beautiful countryside setting. It was like we were a 100 miles away from the city in only a 20 minute drive. Barbara is a very friendly and knowledgeable rider and quickly put my 9-year-old at ease. The sunset picnic was delicious and beautiful; we highly recommend this tour with Barbara when in Santiago!

Our horseback riding adventure with our guide Barbara was amazing! She personalized the trip to our needs and we never felt rushed. We all had varying levels of horseback riding ability, but Barbara with her extensive riding knowledge, always made us feel comfortable and tailored the ride to what we wanted. On the ride, we had amazing views of Santiago and the surrounding mountains while we rode through a serene landscape. After the ride, Barbara prepared a picnic snack for us with her personal touch. It was a wonderful day, so we lingered around the stables just enjoying the sunshine. Then Barbara dropped us back off at our hotel when we were ready. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend!
