  • We had been told about Muir Woods and thought we would go and have a look. The bus driver/ tour guide was pretty good he gave us a lot of information on the drive out to Muir Woods. Once we got out there we were pretty much left to wander through the woods by ourselves, so basically you are paying for transport out there and back. The driver was great as he asked if we wanted to be dropped off at any points in the city and we were able to get off in that area, we happened to get off at Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory as we had never been there, then walked back to the wharf from there.

  • The experience overall was really good! The tour picked us up from our hotel in downtown San Fran. It was a rainy day, but that can't be helped. Muir Woods was neat, but I personally think that the trees in Yosemite are more awe-inspiring. The only downfall to the trip was that our driver had a VERY thick Italian accent and all three of us in our group agreed that we only caught about 50 of what he was saying, which was disappointing. I'm not even sure that if he slowed down his speech that it would have helped. I was concentrating so hard to try to understand him that I didn't enjoy myself as much as I would have liked.

  • Very good tour. We had plenty of time in the Muir Woods which were a special experience. We were picked up promptly at the hotel and once we started the tour, we were given a very good narration. Definitely a good choice.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Beautiful drive and Willie was a fabulous driver and tour guide. We spent 90 minutes in beautiful Muir Woods and enjoyed a peaceful scenic ride back to San Francisco. Before returning to the tour office Willie gave us a very nice tour of the nicer areas of San Francisco.

  • The five of us really enjoyed the bus trip to Muir Woods. We were only there for one and a half hours, but we loved every beautiful minute of it. Our tour guide was super informative and funny! Our only negative is that sometimes we were unable to understand/hear what he was saying.

  • This 'tour' was really only a bus ride. The driver dropped us off at Muir Woods, we went in by ourselves and were on our own. Then we were driven to Sausalito and were dropped off there our choice, we could have been dropped off back to the hotel in SF. The only 'tour' aspect was the driver talking non-stop for the entire bus ride, some of which was incomprehensible with his thick accent so we just tuned out. Not worth the . Could just drive yourself to Muir Woods or Uber and have exactly the same experience except for the non-stop talking! I must say though, that the service was very good. The bus was supposed to pick me up at my hotel but since they were running late, they sent an Uber for me at no extra charge, which I thought was very good service.

  • Both the drive to Muir Woods and the 90 minutes we had to hike in Muir Woods were beautiful. The Redwoods are incredible and our bus driver shared numerous historical stories about the areas along the drive and the national park. It was also fun to see parts of quaint Sausalito on our drive back to San Francisco. Our driver was kind enough to ask where each family in our group needed to be dropped off on our return trip. We also used the hotel pick-up which was confirmed via phone the day before and very prompt.

  • The tour was amazing and the highlight of our trip! I would definitely recommend taking this tour. The only thing I would change is extending the amount of time we have to walk in the woods.

  • tour guides or commentators need to know facts instead of making up conversation just for the sake of it.A lot of hearsay .
