Great informative guide Mayrol , quite the collection of gold , weapons and anthropological items . Good addition to Peru’s many gems . The museum could use better item labeling and identification if you go without a knowledgeable tour guide .

Excellent experience with Vipac Travel the Lima provider. Not good experience with Tripadvisor, Tripadvisor has to improve customer communication. The provider picked us and returned us to the hotel via private transportation. The guide was a TRUE bilingual tour guide. He explained surrounding locations while traveling to/from the museum, and was knowledgeable of the gold collection. I would have liked more history on the arms part of the tour. The museum is fascinating on its gold & arms collection, breathtaking. It was a good PRIVATE tour experience.

The museum was very interesting. We took our time and look at all the fascinating items. Smaller kids would probably find it boring, but our teens were intrigued.

O Museo do Oro é imperdível.
