We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.00 to 4.30 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world.
Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.

The tour was very well organised. They provided us with cold water, wet wipes etc. The guide was very good., He was kind, Polite and accommodating. He took pictures for everyone. However the transportation can be better. The mini vas was a run down version of some old car with a Mercedes Benz Logo !

We were so glad we booked befo e we arrived, as everything was set in place for our first full day.
Both days were a bit rushed, but o.k to get an overview of the temples.
Gave us great background to use our third day ticket to go back.
Today I might use a Tuk tuk , but just arrived it was great to have air conditioned car.
Recomend this tour for newbies to Siem Reap -
Excellent Tour Guides, explained everything and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend the Two Day Package.

Tour is ok, however you should do your homework and obtain information about the history and temples by yourself, as there were not so much information about it on the tour. During the excursions it was mostly - see this and that. About 6-8 temples is seen during the tour, the real disadvantage is that elephant temple is not seen in this tour. Felt disappointed also regarding lunch were we are taken without any choice, the place is extremely overpriced, prices are 2 times bigger than in any other place in Siem Reap, felt robbed. The guide was smiling, has no problems to take photos. The transportation is good. Bear in mind that from 8 hour tour, around 1.5 will take transportation back and forth and another hour for lunch. Not sure if I would recommend if there were any choice, but as there is none other such offer - it is probably worth it and surely better than exploring by yourself temples without any clue and knowledge.
